We LOVED our intro to agility class. It is extremely fun and beneficial for various reasons. You are reinforcing your dogs basic training, while they exercise, build confidence in themselves, and do fun obstacles. It’s a comfortable laid back setting, and everyone is encouraging and cheering for one another. I highly recommend the intro to agility class with Swift Dog Sports!

Took our pup to Introductory Agility primarily for socialization with other dogs. Casual environment. You are certain to learn tips and it's a great way to spend time together with your dog.

Tara is awesome and very knowledgeable. I would recommend the business for basic learning and agility. I came in with a very fearful dog and no knowledge of agility and both myself and my dog are comfortable.

We started our 2 year old in the Introductory Agility class 6 weeks ago and the time has flown, full of fun and so much learning. Tara is fantastic and Tracey leads our classes and she is everything you hope for in an instructor. They aren't just dog people, they're people people (if you know what I mean) and that's super important to me. If you're considering Swift Dog Sports, this team has it all. We're signed up for our second session and so looking forward to where this will lead us. Our dog enjoys it so much.

My dog Echo and I completed introductory agility here one year ago. The class was super fun for both Echo and I. Tara is attentive, and her instructions are easy to understand and follow. We continued to agility skills and drills after which we loved just as much. Echo learned so much in both the classes.We highly recommend Swift Dog Sports!

I have done the intro Agility in Abbotsford with two of my dogs. We liked that each dog gets one on one attention. My dogs can be fearful with Loud sounds or new obstacles. The instructor was calm and patient and helped my dogs gain the confidence to work through things!

We have just completed the Introductory agility class. Our dog has learned SO much and had an absolute blast (probably partly because of the mental stimulation and partly because of the copious amount of treats!). The instructor is fantastic. She is encouraging and kind, very quick to praise accomplishments. The class starts out with very basic introduction to the different apparatus, and moves up with the comfort level of each dog. We are excited to move on to Level 2 agility.

My dog loves agility soo much! She looks forward to it every week. It's great mental as well as physical stimulation for my pup as well as myself! Tara is amazing at helping the dogs stay safe while helping them come to learn and love the sport. Her teaching style is positive and fun. Absolutely recommend to anyone looking to deepen their bond with their dog.

Tara Labelle, the owner and trainer of Swift Dog Sports is the best Agility trainer I have seen. She participates at a high level in this sport, having represented Canada for years internationally and successfully taken top honours with her dogs. She also judges the sport as well as participating in and teaching it.The great thing about Tara is that she is happy to teach you and your dog, no matter what level you are at, from beginner to Master's level, and no matter whether you want to just have fun or compete internationally (some of her students now compete internationally). She really understands dogs and how to teach pretty much any breed and their owner. I have had Tara as my Agility coach for a few years now, and I am now training my second dog with her. The great thing about training Agility with Tara is that you end up with a very well trained dog in all aspects of life, not just Agility, if you remain training with her past introductory Agility courses. Plus you end up with a well trained dog while having fun too.I also discovered that Agility, as you progress beyond beginner levels is challenging so it never gets boring because there is always more to learn, plus you end up with a nice strong bond with your dog.Tara is definitely a five star trainer and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her whether it is her group classes or her individual classes. Both of my dogs love going to Tara's Agility classes. My first dog, Tashi, was an extremely fearful rescue SPCA dog who was terrified of nearly everything she encountered. She thrived in Swift Dog Sports with Tara's coaching and has become an amazing dog. If Tara can turn Tashi into a well trained Agility dog, she can train anyone!

My doggo Phoebe and I loved the Swift Dog's Agility Introductory Class. Instructor Tracy pays attention to both the dog and handler ensuring that both successfully complete the maneuvers. She had incredible patience with dog antics as well as all my questions. Phoebe loved the physical work and the mental stimulation and was always ready for a nap on the way home.
