Very rude, ignorant & unhelpful place! You think they would treat a new customer with respect. The manager here should be taken to an integrity training session! She was more interested in office paperwork than the only client in her business! I suggest you avoid coming here unless you have no other choice! They only care about big business and not the individual or average person.

Very unprofessional!I called in last week to book a lift and clearly stated it was for a painting job! Their representative confirmed that they did have some available.The day we need it they give us issues regarding credit cards information which delayed things. Then eventually stated that they don't rent for painting jobs!!I had my partner called in to confirm if they do rent for painting jobs, and once again their representative stated that they do. This company is very unorganized!Wasted money and time!

Great service, friendly staff, and knowledgeable. I am a DIY''er and they helped guide me and rent me the right equipment to do my project. It was a pleasure doing business with them. The equipment was in good shape and worked well. Very reasonable rates, and even better rates over the weekend for the DIY'ers.

Wonderful customer service. Gentleman working the front counter was very helpful. My visit to A and B rental was very smooth and professional. Always satisfied at the end of their services. Reasonable prices with phenomenal staff. I’ll definitely be back, thanks!

Rented linoleum glue removal tool got home and motor was instantly hot and over loaded. Tripped breaker. Motor burning. 1/2 hour later I tool it back. Told them tool wasn't doing got under load of removing glue. Charged me full price$ 200 for 20 min of use of faulty equipment .Went to home depot they said u have to use direct drive motor other wise it's to hard on the motor ...I offered to pay half of rental fee and they wouldn't budge. Thanks for wasting my time and losing a customer forever and gaining a 1 star review .

I'm not sure how in the world this company has any repeat customers with the sketch way they do business.They wouldn't disclose how much the units were until after I had the (licensed) worker who would be using the unit send over his card. Not everyone who managed company finances and rentals are the ones driving the units... So this was odd. My guy had to call it in, and then they requested I send the details via email.So I outlined the need for a unit via email as requested. I also asked for an invoice or some form of quote to be sent back.Instead I got an informal email back asked for my credit card. No quote. Just wanted our financial information.I explained that it was our company policy not to disclose that information via email. Which is pretty much ANY reputable business's policy...I called the next morning to give the information, and they said they would send over a quote following the call. They sent over nothing, and instead billed our company card 4k.When I called back and asked what was going on, they said they took the deposit as well. Still no actual numbers sent over. They seemed irritated that I wanted a paper trail for the price for the unit, delivery, etc... I explained that it was pretty standard businesses practice to want a paper trail, and that they can't just charge people 3x the cost without INFORMING them at all.I said I wanted the unit for one week and gave the dates for delivery and pick up. Then nobody came to pick up and when I called the next day to see what was up, they said I needed to call them to have it removed. Again, nobody passed this information along.Super sketchy. I can't fathom what clients are renting from here that are this lax about financial formalities, to the point where I got snarky attitude from them when I was confused where the quote was...Now that things are picking up again, I'm going to keep this in mind the more rigging we have to do.

I picked up a cement mixer on Monday afternoon, for use on Tuesday and maybe Wednesday. I got the impression that I would be charged for 1 or 2 days use, but not for Monday. On returning the unit on Tuesday afternoon, I parked at the drop off area. No one around to help unload. I went inside and the counter staff started to finalize the paper work. I had my payment ready in hand. The attendant was on the phone. I was just ready to pay when he got off the phone and stated that I owe an additional charge for the previous day. I didn't complain about the charge. He also stated that I couldn't pay until the unit was inspected. I stated it was is good clean condition, but no, I had to go out and unload the unit, come back and pay. Some words" were exchanged

A great long-standing family business that helps you get your weekend projects done with virtually every tool that you could need. Great service, received delivery, and they picked it up in a timely and professional manner. Good price, the delivery guy was friendly. Booking is easy. Rented a welder from here. It was in top condition, everything worked well and was clean.

I was screwed in the friendliest of ways by this company. Long story short, I trusted them with my credit card, I trusted them when they said 'don't worry about it' and in the end I got ripped off. They smiled, and said nice things along the way, but still deceived me and gave me the run around in my attempts to fix what was their 'mistake' (to give them the benefit of the doubt). Kensal Rental has gained a customer without having to do anything at all!Update: I had someone ask me recently where I rented the scissor lift from, as they needed one, and I was able to steer them away from A&B Rental! Their motto could be 'Squeezing someone for a little extra money is more important than our word, future business, or goodwill'.

Always takes care of our rental needs - Great company to deal with. Machines are is fantastic shape.
