Thos. R. Birnie & Sons Ltd. did and was overall satisfied. Then a small component of the piping not any more than 2 inches of the PVC piping to the outside water tap sprung a leak. Apparently this is unusual for PVC to do that. I had to get it fixed right away in order to continue with the garden. The technician relayed to me that it probably would have been better if the valve was set back further with a longer PVC pipe. REally? Then why wasn't it done. He quotes $300 to replace and $600+ to do an entire valve set back - all for 2 of PVC?! If that was the case

We need a laundry tub installed. We called this company because of the reviews. The tub is near the main stack and yes we need some parts. To do this small job the quote we got for memeber" was $2500.00. The price for non memeber was over $3000.00. The plumbing pipe that is 10 feet 15 at most was $1000.When we said no the person that came out tried hard a sell. I am not a plumber but I know that this job shouldn't be $3000.00.Yes it's a small job but that dosent give this company the right to price gouge. If the job is to small just say so and dont waste myTime.How many people have they taken advantage of??"
