Temagami Outpost

Recently visited temagami with a bunch of friends. It was a beautiful experience. Hosts were friendly and thanks to Nico, Leo, Angie & Seth for taking good care of us. Their sauna is amazing. Food was great. It’s a nice getaway spot with pretty views. Definitely going back !!

The owners of this amazing gem of a camp are very outstanding and helpful to anyone who has the pleasure of meeting them. Highly recommend them to anyone who has the opportunity to utilize their many options to enjoy the outdoors and beauty of Northern Ontario.

Best place on the planet. I have been coming to the Temagami Outpost for 3 consecutive years and can't see myself missing a year. The staff are all incredible - I have brought a dozen different people up and they are greeted with hugs and treated like family. The property couldn't be more beautiful, and the amenities are fantastic. You should check it out.

We had such an amazing time at the Outpost and can't wait to go back!We went for 3 nights right at the beginning of fall. Nico and Leo were extremely accommodating helping us plan our trip and the logistics on short notice. They were so warm and welcoming it felt like we were staying at a camp with close friends. The lake is absolutely breathtaking and feels very secluded which was exactly what we wanted. We came from the GTA and the trip took around 5 hours which we found was very easy and worth it even just for a long weekend. After a short boat ride we arrived at the Outpost and were blown away by how nice it was. Their family has worked so hard and done such a great job renovating and modernizing the outpost and cabins. This place was the perfect mixture of modern and rustic. It was a great place to get away to and feel truly secluded but still had all the amenities and luxuries you would want at a cabin. The primary purpose of our trip was for fishing and though we did not have a ton of luck on the main lake (which we attribute to the poor time of year) we hiked back to a lake about 2km from the outpost on a portage trail that had some of the best bass fishing I have ever experienced.Accommodations, hospitality, food, hosts, surrounding area, activities and adventures were all 5/5 stars.We are already planning our next trip to the Outpost and cannot wait to see all the exciting things that are being built and planned to be built in the near future.

One of the highlights of Temagami Outpost is the campfire experience. Gathering around a crackling fire under a starlit sky is an unforgettable experience that evokes a sense of togetherness and tranquility. Whether you're sharing stories, roasting marshmallows, BBQ or simply basking in the warmth, the campfire becomes the heart of the island, bringing people closer and creating lasting memories.

Nico and Leo have done a great job at bringing this 1900s fishing camp back to life!My family and I stayed here for the night before leaving on a canoe trip in Temagami and were spared no comfort, including a relaxing sauna when we arrived. A rustic but homey experience with helpful and knowledgeable staff made us feel welcome. Thank you for your hospitality! We will be back in the coming years for a longer stay

Amazing secluded piece of heaven. Nico and Leo have put their heart and soul into this place and the results are outstanding. They organized my kids' 50 and 36 day canoe trips with such professionalism and attention to detail, giving us full confidence that the kids were safe and happy. They were so attentive to personalizing the trip and the kids' needs. The staff they hired to lead the trips were absolutely outstanding. I had the privilege of spending a night there as well. What incredible hosts! I will recommend Temagami Outpost to everyone and anyone who will listen!

Just got back from a wonderful stay at Temagami Outpost. You couldn't ask for a better combined tripping service and lodge stay. Nico and Leo had everything ready for our trip. The food, including amazing steaks were greatly appreciated after the first day of paddling. The lodge and cabins offer spectacular views. The hospitality and meals were plentiful and delicious. And then there was Seth's blueberry cheesecake. I can't wait to go back next year. Jeff

A piece of heaven in Temagami. Leo and Nico, their lovely family and staff have worked hard to rebuild this camp to provide their guests with a wonderful experience. If you love the outdoors, canoeing, forest bathing, fishing and being off the grid this place is incredible. You will see stars...sit by an outdoor fire, warm up in a sauna...a time to remember.
