Gallery 2 Grand Forks Art Gallery

Fantastic gallery, all the staff were helpful and welcoming. The gift shop was wonderful, filled with unique work from local artists.

I allways stop here passing through. Clean good bathrooms. There is an art gallery that is Interesting. Outside is a nice grass area with benches very relaxing. The building is an old court house neat architecture and lots of wood trim

This is a well-run gallery with always interesting art displays which change frequently. The building that houses it (and its garden) is spectacular on its own. I'm just a sometimes visitor to Grand Forks, but I love this gallery and visit every time I'm there. The small store has really neat things for sale (everything from books to jewelry to pottery to cards to ... well, you get it), usually from local or BC artists; I always buy something and usually spend more than I intended. I'm a fan, and urge any visitor to take the time for a browse.

I've been wanting to stop here for ages and was truly excited that I'd made room this trip. Maybe that's why I was so disappointed. The gal in the gift shop was sweet and eager to help me find my way thru the gallery. There was a man that was, well, politely rude... especially by Canadian standards. One room in the building is the history of the area. I actually found a photo of my great great paternal grandfather! That one room is why it ranked two stars.Most of the current showing is the tremendous flooding to the region spring of 2018. The flood was so powerful it destroyed a great section of Grand Forks & changed the path of the Grandby River. When asked about after" pics or ANY post flood info... they were bewildered by the very idea.I know this is an ART gallery but it's also set itself up as the intellectual center of all things flood related EXCEPT the actual effects and aftermath of the flood. I'm sad I can't mark it higher."

I didn't visit the gallery part. There is tourist information there and the person helping me was very professional, had all and more info that i needed. What a difference it was for me after stopping at Rossland's where the two young girls had to google my questions and still had no answers. Thx Grand Forks and congrats for making your town welcoming!

Great starting place for anyone new to Grand Forks and the Boundary region, with a tourist info centre, pictorial heritage gallery, artisan gift shop, a permanent collection and several rooms for local and travelling exhibitions. Gallery 2 also offers tours, lectures and forums, studio art classes, and annual events like the Wine Tasting Gala and Taps & Tapas.

Always something new to see here. My mother and I stopped in today and she picked and bought two beautiful pieces from an artist who sadly had passed away. Art is eternal, and I will always stop in to visit. Thank you to the wonderful staff who helped us while we were there. ♥️

Fabulous repurposed heritage building with a bevy of galleries

Beautiful art space in the very well maintained Grand Forks former court house. Featuring talent from local artists. It has a lovely gift shop with high quality pieces from local artisans. Whether you're there for the art or the history it's definitely worth a visit!

The Gallery 2 is a magical place. It is very easy to get lost in though while looking at the exhibits and taking it all in. The staff ate amazing and the gift shop is incredible. You will definitely want to stop in.
