Great service. My call was answered by a friendly staff member who advised me that she would pass my issue to Kevin. Our problem required same day action Kevin responded quickly by calling in an employee on his day off. The technician, Isaac and a helper arrived, assessed the situation, called in Hydro to shut off the electricity and fix the outside issue, then Isaac repaired the panel issue and we had full power again, yeah. We couldn’t have been more pleased, service was excellent, Isaac is very knowledgeable and explained everything to us, his attitude and personality are well suited to his chosen career. We bought a backup generator from Safeguard Electric and had Kevin and his crew install it. Kevin was very professional and what he quoted us is exactly what we paid. He and his crew were very polite and made sure every little detail was explained to us and if we had questions they were happy to take the time to answer. They were on time, courteous, and obviously took pride in their work. Definitely recommend Kevin and his Safeguard Electric crew!

I hired Safeguard Electric to install a backup generator and panel for my home. Kevin provided a quote for the complete job- and that is what I ended up paying once the job was done. He explained that timeline for approvals from the gas and hydro companies were beyond his control, and may take extra time before the generator could be hooked up. So I had everything I needed to know up front. (not always the case with contractors)I was not satisfied with some aesthetic aspects of the subcontracted work. So why the five star review? Because both Kevin and the subcontractor made themselves available to discuss the concern, and resolved it. Promptly and without additional cost.The gas company caused a delay because they said I needed a higher volume meter because of the new generator. Kevin did not ask for interim payments. He waited until the unit was fully commissioned and I was satisfied before sending the final invoice.In short - professionalism and integrity every step of the way. I would recommend Safeguard if you are planning to have a backup generator installed at your home or business.

I had them over a couple times for plug changes, lights switched out and today a panel change. They did an amazing job and now I feel safe and it looks great. Isaac and Josh were the two who did the work. They were very kind and very work oriented. I have nothing but good things to say about how quick the work was done and the extra explaining they gave us.

Safeguard helped me in a very timely manner. My generac back up power had failed and they came in and showed me what was needed to restore backup power supply right away. Highly recommended!

We purchased a Cummins generator from Safeguard and we couldn’t be more pleased. We contacted several companies to get quotes, some never showed, others came but never submitted a quote to us, another one sent a quote with big bold letters saying price could change and then there was Safeguard, they came when they said they would and presented us with a detailed quote. When the job was finished, everything was installed perfectly and the bill was the same as the quote. Everyone at Safeguard is friendly, professional and extremely qualified. It was a pleasure to deal with Safeguard, Laurie in the office is so knowledgeable and all the guys doing the installation were wonderful. What can I say, the company has done all that was require and more. Laurie on the phone and emails very professional. Josh and Owen very professional, on time and educational I've learned a great deal. If you don't know what you're doing CALL THE PROS. Very frustrated trying to find someone who could sell, install and service a whole home generator that you feel you can trust with a big investment until I found Kevin and his crew at Safeguard Electric. Right from the beginning phone call with Laurie who answered the phone (amazing communication) to the end of the instalation this business is doing it right! It’s so hard to find reliable tradespeople in the valley, and we were absolutely blown away and delighted by the service we got from Safeguard. They fit us in within 24 hours, showed up on time, addressed our concerns with the electrical on our new dishwasher and were so pleasant. Fair pricing and fantastic service! Will be sure to use them again.

Shout out to Kevin at SAFEGUARD for the professional insatllation of a Generlink at my home. Patience displayed while waiting for Hydro One guys to finish their breakfast and show up to do their job, thus allowing him to do the actual work.Also to the admin from the company Joscelyn who co-ordinated all the details to me while I was away. She was very detailed and professional also to deal with.Highly recommended and appreciate the work. Looking forward to a power outage now so I can light up my house with power :)
