Absolutely a wonderful atmosphere with a gorgeous lakeside view from the patio.The service was impeccable and the food was a fantastic pleasure to the palate. Steak was cooked perfectly and the drinks were unique in presentation.

We went to On The Rocks for a corporate team building event and had a wonderful evening with phenomenal food and excellent cocktails. The restaurant overlooking the lake was the perfect setting to enjoy the dinner which was carefully curated by Gunnar himself, paired with delicious cocktails. An absolute treat and would highly recommend this five star dining experience!

Amazing food, cocktails, service and views! We’ve been ordering delicious take out since it opened a few months ago. Since they’re now offering dine-in service with a new menu we were excited to try it out. I can’t say enough about the meal from start to finish: the food, cocktails, all amazing and so nicely presented. The atmosphere is awesome and seems to morph as the sun goes down - such a cozy yet upscale vibe. We will be back often! Congratulations to the Guckes’ family and all of the On the Rocks team on a successful opening.

Have eaten here a couple times now (we are locals) and have enjoyed it every time. Our kids also love coming and the owner is wonderful to come and chat with us. Wait staff is amazing, great service. We’ve tried half the menu so far and we will be back for the other half.

An absolute GEM of a place! The atmosphere, food, drinks and staff are all top notch! The view and sunsets cannot be beat. Our server, Vanessa, was fantastic and even took some amazing photos for us - she knew all the great spots!

The ambience is perfect with a beautiful view of the river.The service is just excellent and food was great too. We tried the steak which was average but the brownie/sorbet dessert was delicious.Great for couple or a group but ensure you make a reservation esp. if you would want to sit inside.

Atmosphere/vibe/ambiance gets a 5 star as do the tasty food dishes. Everything we tasted, five star fantastic. We were able to bring our own favourite wine, with a corkage-fee of course. A group of four ladies celebrating my birthday, we were seated in the bar area in the fantastic booth meant for special groups. We were impressed with their extensive collection of gins and able to taste a few to make our own preferred G&T. We arrived at 6ish and had no wait, we were not rushed and were the second last table to leave for the night. The experience was phenomenal and like nothing else in the Renfrew County area! Worth the drive, stay locally at Somewhere Inn to continue the very unique experience in the Valley.

Group of 10 with a reservation. Seated on time, our server was excellent and very helpful. Many different drinks offered with different cocktail specials offered each day. Minimal entree selection but very good food with a very nice presentation. We were so impressed we went back another night while we were visiting the area.

We had a chance to go on a little date during the indoor dining restrictions to their outdoor Polar Bar experience and it was worth the drive!The staff were amazing from beginning to the end; the food was incredible and the atmosphere was out of a story book!
