Domestic Diva House Cleaning

I had a terrible experience with this company. When you ask someone to clean your home you expect that it will be judgement free. I am a 43 year old mother of 3 young boys and work full time. My husband was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer. With the treatment and surgeries I realized that I just can't do everything on my own. I was embarrassed to ask family for help because of my pride. I ended up contacting Domestic Diva's. I hired them for 6 hours and provided a list of things I wanted done. I was being charged $150. Now that I am the sole breadwinner, this money isn't easy to come by, but I needed help. First off, the owner did not let me know that I needed to provide a mop, vacuum, and cleaning rags. When I got home, it seemed as though the house had barely been cleaned. I had my mother in law over who also commented on the quality of the clean. I let the owner know that I would pay half the amount even though I felt she should have sent the team back, She has been harassing me for full payment and threatening to send this to collections. She even commented on how disgusting" my house is. I am going to be contacting the BBB

I have been using Domestic Diva to clean my house for over a year and have consistently been happy with the quality of service they provide. The staff are very friendly and my house is cleaned thoroughly on a weekly basis. I find the price to be extremely competitive, having gotten quotes from several other cleaning services before engaging Domestic Diva. I would recommend Domestic Diva for anyone that is looking for good, friendly, well priced house cleaning services.

Just had a few members of the Domestic Diva staff do a deep Spring Clean for me - great experience! I had 3 staffers for 1.5 hours and they asked what my priorities were when they came in (bathroom, kitchen, living room deep clean....rather than a whole house surface clean) and they worked hard the full time. They were very friendly and the house didn't smell like anything when they finished - no chemicals, nothing. It just looked clean. Will definitely book again next time I need a good deep clean!

Domestic Diva has been cleaning my home for several years. Often times it is based on a last minute request. They have been more than accommodating to meet my schedule. It is such a treat to come home to a spotless house. The divas do great work and I'm always impressed by their work.Sheila

WARNING! AVOID this cleaning service at all costs. To make a long story short I hired this company and had lodged complaints with the owner regarding work not being completed (either AT ALL or not satisfactorily). The owner said the issues would be fixed by changing cleaners (even more annoying after my complaints she STILL fully charged me – even though only HALF of the work was done). Well suffice to say things got worse until the last clean culminated in destruction of my property. I came home to find that my bathtub had been cleaned with Toilet bowl cleaner and a scouring pad!!!! The fumes were so strong that I could not enter the bathroom with a mask for HOURS. When I examined the tub the faucet was severely damaged (the metal coating stripped) as well as the drain, worst of all, the bottom of my tub was like SAND PAPER! I called a number of bathtub repair companies who told me that using such a corrosive product on an older steel enamel coated tub WOULD cause this damage and quoted approx. $350 to have it re-coated. I called the owner and sent a number of emails – she ultimately said the cleaner said my tub was already damaged and that she believed her so would NOT be covering the damage???!! SHE USED TOILET BOWL CLEANER IN MY BATHTUB!! ?? The owner stated the cleaner admitted to using the product and she STILL would not take responsibility. Lysol Canada had said the product causes damage to metal and enamel coated tubs and this owner still would not cover the cost to the damage to my property. Moreover, I looked through my house after the clean and found my garbages not changed, my floors only HALF cleaned, under the beds were not cleaned, only ¾ of my living room carpet was vacuumed, my mirrors were not wiped, picture frames not dusted, bathroom floor not cleaned (at least she didn’t use the toilet cleaner on my floor!!), my kitchen island was not wiped, mud room not swept, my sons carpet in his room not vacuumed and his bed not made….these were ALL things that were apart of the contract! So not only did she damage my property BUT didn’t even do the basic cleaning I was paying her for!!?? STAY AWAY – STAY AWAY!

We use Domestic Diva for our monthly cleanings and so far, they've been doing a great job. I am happy with the service they provide and Erma is awesome!

I had Domestic Divas come in and do a one time clean after I moved into a new house. The service was great and affordable - would definitely recommend!

The Divas were fantastic. Many times I just wasn't organized with my kids, and the Divas always worked around us. They were professional, kind, and very flexible to suit my needs. I would recommend them highly.

We have tried about a half dozen or more cleaning services over the last 20 years, and any good services were either sold and then went bankrupt or their service was very poor (late, missed appointments, bad cleaning job, etc.). Domestic Divas is by far the best of any, for a long list of reasons. First and foremost, Erma (the owner/manager) hires fantastic workers. The attitude and approach all of the workers have, comes from the very top and from all of the REGULAR cleaners (I exclude the ones that last a month, or can't handle the work and give bad reviews, those employees aren't reflecting the reality), they are stellar and efficient. Erma has been supremely flexible over the years (with a new baby in our house) and this was very helpful. Our schedule has irregularly changed and Erma was able to adapt. She has set up Direct Deposit so payment is the easiest way possible. The rates are very comparable to other cleaners but I have to admit she has also been very accommodating with our needs (how often, how long and any changes) so our overall cost has gone down. Thank you for the flexibility! Domestic Divas is by far, the best managed, best delivered cleaning service in London. I teach Business at the university and I recommend this service to all of my students when they ask me for recommendations, and in fact, I use this firm as an example of excellent customer service when I refer to the many examples of their caring and respectful service and Erma's diligence in scheduling and staffing. Finally, even during this pandemic, she has kept in contact with us and put in security and cleanliness rules for all workers. We feel very lucky to have a service like Domestic Divas available in London. Thank you Erma!
