Peter is honest, hardhard-working, creative, and thinks outside the box. He built a great-looking fence for my yard, working with me to ensure the design was exactly what I wanted. He was always on time and kept me in the loop throughout the process. I have other projects coming up and look forward to working with him again. I would highly recommend him for any carpentry and renovation projects.

Honeybee was amazing to deal with throughout our project, from start to finish. We had some safety issues that needed to be dealt with before the winter hit, and then the work had to continue in the spring — We needed a second floor deck rebuilt for our cottage boathouse, which also supported our roof, and needed proper supports on the ground as well. Peter, Ania and crew went above and beyond for us and we are so grateful to have found them. Peter kept in constant contact with us throughout the project. It’s hard being so far away during a project like this, but we received lots of information and photos when we were not able to be there.Also, everyone Peter recommended to work with during the project were very professional and wonderful to deal with.Peter clearly pays extra attention to detail while making sure the project finished by the target date (actually earlier!). They also left our place even cleaner than the way they found it. I would highly recommend Honeybee, and plan to contact them again for future projects :)

We LOVE working with Peter and Anna! They are honest, straightforward, do everything to code or better, have a very high standard for their work, are respectful, open minded and creative problem solvers. They aren't afraid to be asked a million questions and explain what they're doing! We appreciate their timeliness, and they are good communicators when things come up. First, let me say a HUGE THANK YOU to Peter Pietruszko, owner and tradesperon of Honey Bee Carpentry of Barry's Bay, Ontario. We were in a tough place, trying to get a deck built for my home. Peter gave, what I thought, was a fair quote for the job .. hired .. NEEDLESS TO SAY, WE ARE EXTREMELY THRILLED WITH THE OUTCOME !!! Peter worked tirelessly to get the job completed. When foundation tasks were outsourced, Peter came and inspected the job to ensure it was correct. Throughout the project, Peter made suggestions to ensure a better outcome, instead of doing the deck as planned, then us wishing it could be changed. Structural issues with the house were encountered during the deck build, and Peter was able to repair them without a problem. Many people have commented regarding the excellent workmanship and how good it looks with the house. Peter was polite, professional, and extremely easy to contact during the project. Peter showed up to the construction site when he said he would, as well as contact us if there was a change. The project came in a tiny bit above quote, BUT, it was due to price increases of wood, during the COVID times. Peter had receipts to prove the increase, but, due to the trust he had built, it was not necessary for us to see them. If it was possible to give 10 stars out of 5, that is where we would rate Honey Bee Carpentry of Barry's Bay, Ontario. We already have Peter reserved for the building tasks we need completed in 2021. Peter and Anna turned a confined and basic closet into a very efficient and more practical storage space for the wife’s clothes. Very professional and courteous as well as the knowledge to offer positive advice. Will not hesitate to call for future projects.

We had the entire interior of our home painted by Peter , he did an amazing job and it was not easy. He went above and beyond to make sure everything looked amazing, the ceilings all took an extra coat to cover as well as most of the trim work. He made sure everything was done professionally and perfect. His wife Anna helped him as well and did an excellent job. Thanks Peter and Anna, we absolutely love our new home!! I hired Honey Bee Carpentry to add a bathroom in an unfinished space in my basement. Peter was amazing! Punctual, communicative, fair, professional, yes all of the above. More than that, he was informed, extremely skill and knowledgeable. His attention to detail was very impressive to someone who is detail oriented. I am a real estate investor and I done 3 bathroom renovations in the past year and a half. Peter impressed me. I just wish he lived closer to my other properties! Peter and I will be doing business again.

We needed an economical and quick solution to a missing landing in my parents garage, while still keeping the existing lift that came with the house. Peter and Anna were able to assist and squeeze us into their already busy schedule, and did an amazing job! The communication was great, from a quick response back to our initial inquiry and through to the finish. A very honest couple who are refreshing to work with.
