I take my 95 R100R to George because A) I trust him, and B) he does excellent work. He’s fair on pricing and transparent about what work your airhead needs and doesn’t need. George shares his knowledge generously and happily answers all manner of questions about these lovely old machines. I’ve had nothing but great experiences at his shop. You will too. George was recommended by a friend. He’s such a great guy, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. He did a full restoration of my 1971 R60/5 and I couldn’t be happier with the end result. His guidance and communication were key in having an amazing bike. I have another 1966 R50/2 and obviously he takes care of her. Looking forward to another project with him.

I contacted George to help troubleshoot an electrical issue with my bike, an '08 K1200GT. He arranged to have Derek there for my visit and together we spent 30 minutes going over the issue, narrowing it down to the battery, which was the culprit. Neither George nor Derek would accept payment for their time, How cool is that? Thanks for helping me out guys!

Trying to find a good used /2 is not easy these days. I live in Canada and scoured the internet for a used R50 or R60/2 and came close to sending my money off to a fellow in “Texas” that had one for sale. Long story short, it was a scam and I was lucky to have made the discovery before I was about to be ripped off.Thankfully I made contact with George and it so happened that he had a beautiful R50/2 on consignment. What a pleasure to talk to a knowledgeable and honest enthusiast. Since I live in BC and the bike was in Ontario, I had to rely on George’s straight forward opinion of the bike in order to make my decision. My new/old bike showed up this week and I couldn’t be happier. It is exactly as George described and arrived in perfect condition thanks to the shipper that George connected me with.The only thing I would say at this point is it would be great if George had a twin brother that had his skills and knowledge. George is a busy guy and perhaps a victim of his own success. He works hard!

I was stranded 150km from home when my bike developed a serious gas line leak. It was late on a Friday night, I'm new to Ontario, and options for assistance were limited. I thought I could make a temporary 'MacGyver-type' repair if only I could get a few inches of small diameter pipe and a couple of hose clamps. However, all retail outlets were limited to 3-day curbside pick-up, thanks to the pandemic. I was not a happy camper and the thoughts of finding a place to leave my bike, hiking back home and returning in a week or more with the proper parts stressed me out, big time. I sent requests for assistance by emails and phone messages to all the motorcycle repair shops and BMW dealers within 50Km, and had a restless night. At 9:20 on Saturday morning I got a call back from George. He was clearly concerned about my predicament and suggested I come by his shop to see what parts might work. Wonderful! I borrowed a car and got there in an hour. I didn't know George from Adam, and I clearly wasn't going to be a regular customer. However, he treated me like a true gentleman or, in his words, a member of 'the brotherhood'. George took time to go over my problem, look at the photos on my cell phone, and discuss my potential solution. He then sent me off with two different sized metal pipes and an assortment of hose clamps; but not before showing me around his shop and some of the amazing bikes on hand. He is clearly passionate about his work and definitely an expert in a rare niche. Sure enough, the fix worked, my bike ran like a charm, and I was able to get home. I can't thank George enough for helping me out in a difficult situation! So good to be reminded that there are good decent people like George in the world.

I found George while searching for a parts supplier in Canada and he was nice enough to take the time to ship me the parts I needed. Whenever I need advice on my first airhead, he helps me troubleshoot without any hesitation. He's super friendly, knowledgable and very responsive and I can't wait to bring my bike to his shop for some restoration work in the winter. If you are a proud owner of an airhead, I highly recommend his services!

George is an awesome guy. Total expert. Most thorough mechanic I have ever met. His passion for these airheads comes across in every interaction with a work ethic to match. His approach is methodical and is clearly based on years of seeing just about everything that can go wrong on these old bikes. Feeling at ease knowing that I have finally found someone I can trust with my R75. Looking forward to many spring maintenance sessions to come.

George is awesome to work with. I went to him to rebuild the gearbox and transmission on my 1983 R80ST after I rode it to the tip of South America. I had him install a higher 5th and a lower 1st gear and it has been running silky smooth. He is super helpful, generous with advice, and a treasury of information on our old BMWs. I recommend his services without hesitation or caveat.
