WINS Thrift Store (Women In Need Society)

Liked that store a lot before. Seems they have new management that's not so great. Wanted to buy a pair of shoes, brand new, priced $ 20 . When I checked the price on the internet, they were sold $ 10 to $ 15 !!!!! Asked to talk to a manager, who said he can't do anything about it. Very poor customer service ! Not sure I'll come back here.

I love this store! Affordable prices and helpful staff. They have changing rooms to try stuff on. The store is well organized and tidy, and there is usually alot to choose from. Will be back :)

This is a very bad shop. This morning, I saw a table in this shop with a price tag of $5, and when I paid, the cashier lady, said it was too cheap, she wouldn't sell it to me. So she found another man, who went to the warehouse at the back and consulted with the person in charge of the price. The other man said that there were some problems with the table and needed to be repaired, so his bid was very cheap. But the lady persisted and told me that if I wanted to buy this table I would have to pay $25 and I was disappointed. I would like to ask, if the customer price is higher, will you refund it to the customer? Customers buy according to the store's listed price, which is the most basic transaction principle, not according to personal opinion.

There are some real gems here, and at fabulous prices nonetheless. For example I found 25 lb weights for only $12. Great furniture selection too and don't even get me started on the picture frames

I always donate to WINS, but this location will refuse donations I guess if it's too close to closing time? They might want to update their google pages that say otherwise. Might also want to advise cashier not to yell at those who try to donate past hours when online says that's ok.

This wins is not nice people. I have been in there before and had noticed that they will allow customers that they know to go in the back and grab stuff to buy. Today I was there and I seen an item on the trolley ready priced to come out so I ask the guy to give me as I am gonna buy it. He said no and slammed the back door in my face. If I am not allowed to by a priced item then they should not allow others who don't work there to go in the back and buy stuff. We all should have same standards. Also be careful in buying new products here. They are selling fake products that has recently been gotten rid of by amazon.

Good products for a good cause

A store where you get used items in cheap rates. New immigrant women could get grants for upto $200 under certain conditions. A well maintained store with helping staff. Delivery at a cost. This one is at McLeod near Southland lrt station

I am so lucky to be walking distance to WINS. I not only buy from this awesome shop, but I also donate my items that no longer live me joy. So, I am getting beautiful clothes or other household items that I need and also supporting women in need.The staff is always friendly and their prices are amazing.
