I do not understand why it is so hard to get ahold of someone from here. I have repeatedly called, emailed or tried to book online for a fitting and no one has responded to me. If it wasn’t for this being the best fitting option in Ottawa I would be going elsewhere with my service. At least answer me to tell me you are closed or busy.

Had an Edel putter fitting completed here. The fitting was completed by Joe who did a great job walking me through the proceas so that I not only understood what we were doing, but WHY. It was an enjoyable, informative and productive exercise that saw me buying a new putter fitted to me and my putting technique. They didn't sell me on a new putter, they showed me how I could putt better after which I couldn't buy fast enough. Awesome Experience !!

I met with Taylor for a putter fitting. If there is any club to get properly fit, the putter would be it. I have far more confidence because of the equipment already. Thanks Taylor !

I thought I'd try a swing evaluation last December with Dave Druken. Afterwards, signed up for a series of lessons and practice. I have never looked back.To see my swing videos vs different professionals along with the angles of hips, shoulders, turns, etc. made a real difference. I understood Dave's advice and when I didn't, he showed me in terms I could easily understand. In addition, his method and communication skills are friendly and professional.The staff here are very friendly and amicable.I am quite pleased that I came in for that evaluation" back in December."

My first year at GOLFTEC has been amazing. Great coaches, friendly staff, great technology. I've significantly improved my golf game this year and look forward to renewing my membership for 2021

Fantastic guidance, structure and corrections provided by coach Teru, helped my score drop from 130 to mid 90s in just my second year learning the game. No more best ball games. Lancaster, Ottawa, location well set up for pointed lessons and practice sessions. Club fitting provided also opened more areas for improvement. Thanks Teru!!

It was a great session. I went in for a swing evaluation. Taylor's awareness of what he was seeing plus the answers I gave to his questions led him to easily explain what I needed to do to achieve my golfing goals. Taylor and I, with the recorded video of my swing, were able to determine things that I could practice. He also, advised me on equipment tech that could further assist me. Highly recommend Golftec. Their tech, systems and staff just make sense to improve your game.

This is exactly what you're going to get at GolfTec.All the coaches at the Ottawa location are fantastic, approachable guys who are devoted to understanding you and your learning habits and tailoring a lesson plan that will lead you to your best golf.I was always a decent player but I struggled with making next level changes that I always saw on tv but was never able to replicate myself despite sporadic lessons and lengthy practice sessions. I walked into GolfTec Ottawa at the end of last season for my swing evaluation with coach Joe and we quickly highlighted areas for improvement and discussed how and why we needed to work towards them. He made it clear that they don't subscribe to any particular model or template for success as everyone is different. I was convinced that with committed practice and guidance over the course of the winter we could implement the highlighted changes and be ready for the upcoming season.I write this in March as we are just weeks away from this milestone and I can honestly say that I'm not the same golfer I was. Dramatic changes. Now is it perfect? Of course not. The beauty of the game is you can always be improving. However, I can genuinely say that I'm ecstatic with the progress we've made and will continue to improve under their guidance.To be clear, it's a process. There is no quick fix to developing new patterns and understanding why they will benefit your game. If you are expecting a single 60-minute lesson to turn you from a high-handicap player to your local club champion you might want to re-evaluate your learning strategy. Is it a time commitment? Yes. Will you be frustrated at times with the drills tailored to you? No doubt. Will it yield results long term? Absolutely.I have a feeling the members of my regular foursome will be reaching into their pockets more often than not this year.

Went in for an iron fitting. The fitting was great, had all the option laid out and we picked the best one for me. This is where the 1-star enters the room.I was told that since I was ordering some Srixon irons, that they would come in about 2 weeks time. I was expecting longer so this is great news. I got a 4-GW left handed.2 weeks goes by and I get an email that the clubs are ready to be picked up. They tell me they are open at 8 am the next day, great I’ll be there at 8:05.Showed up at 8:05am and the door is locked. No one inside. Luckily for me, one of the employees shows up to pick something up and let’s me know they open at 9am but that he would get my clubs for me. We go inside and look around, sure enough they ordered me right handed clubs. I am told that they would rush order me the correct handed clubs. And on top of that, the GW that they sold me during the fitting, well that club doesn’t exist, Srixon doesn’t even make it in left handed. They offered to swap it out with a Zipcore for free (duh for free).That’s 3 mistakes in a single order. Told me the wrong time, ordered a left handed golfer some right handed clubs as some sort of sick joke and sold me a club that never existed in the first place. I was offered a free lesson by the person who made all these mistakes and I declined as I can’t really trust them. I will never go back to Golf Tec and will tell all to avoid if possible. Overall, the clubs that were supposed to take 2 weeks took 6 weeks.

I completed a one hour swing analysis with Jon Stevenson and found it well worth the cost. It's pretty amazing how much can be caught in a quick hour - the video analysis removes any subjectivity from the diagnosis and makes next steps for improvement crystal clear. The app/website contains detailed recordings of the lesson and drills - huge value add. Looking forward to follow up lessons - highly recommended to anyone on the fence, Jon is a great instructor.
