I took my high functioning autistic son (15yr) to the all ages event on April 8th to see The Stone Fruits and some local rap talent. I've never seen him have so much fun!!! He rocked out in the front row next to the mosh pit and had a blast. I love this small venue atmosphere. It makes the experience so intimate and personal. All of the acts put on an awesome show and there is some really legit talent here in the loops. The people working there were extremely kind and the crowd had a blast. I'll definitely be back for more.

*Update* The owners of the Effie have gone out of their way to welcome myself and my son back. We will be attending a Stonefruits show in September that is an all ages event. I really do love this venue. Thank you Effie.WOW. DISAPPOINTED!! Marketed as an all ages event, we get here and we're told We changed this to a 19+ event just today ( the day of the event). My 15 year old loves The Stone Fruits and was looking forward to this for weeks and brought a friend as well. How do you change this on event day??? The one star is for the organizers of the event
