Great place to take your car for repair!!Was heading to Calgary from Vancouver on the Labor Day weekend. and my truck died. After trying to find a place to take my truck to, everyone said maybe next week.When I found Sicamous and repair, The owner Immediately started looking for a new alternator and was able to find one and install it within a few hours and I was back on my way. I am very grateful they were there and went the extra mile to get me back on the road for the long weekend.I highly recommend Sicamous auto repair to get five stars from me.

This was the only shop for a hundred miles that would fit us into their schedule even when they were already overbooked since we were traveling through the area. Val, the head mechanic and owner has experience working on Mercedes Sprinters from a previous work experience. He was able to help us diagnose our issue and then we were able to replace the part ourselves.

Never wrote a review. My first. Got a problem on my way to Calgary. Val,the owner, save my life with a great service. His son it's a gem in vw knowledge. Young but smart and handy. I am close to 60 years but this really got me. Such a nice guy and polite. I recommend his shop and every time I will pass by his shop i will stop and say hello " . I made it home thx to him and his son. Wish he was closer.I will visit often. I am so grateful to this shop. Highly recommend."

Sicamous Auto Repair
Our van broke down on our drive home at the end of our camping trip. They diagnosed the problem right away, got the part (a new alternator) in much faster than the other shops in town were able to, and they had someone come in to work on their day off to get us back on the road as soon as possible. Friendly, prompt service, and a reasonable price. They also were recommended from several of the locals. Very grateful for their service!

Very thankful for the great staff. Had a breakdown while passing through Sicamous and they quickly diagnosed (at 4PM on a Friday) and even worked through the weekend to ensure we were able to get back on the road. Very friendly and helpful team who went the extra mile to get the job done...and even entertain our three year old. Would definitely use again if in the Sicamous area!

I called 15 min to closing time in desperate need of head lights. No where to buy any around here at the time I came into town and they managed to have my kind and even helped me put them in. Beyond grateful. Thank you so much guys. It's just so refreshing going into an establishment where service is required and the staff genuinly want to help you out. It's so rare now a days.

There is a fine young gentlemen who works here (I believe named Austin?) who took time out of his Canada Day long weekend to help me out when I was stranded at a service station. I would’ve been completely stuck had it not been for him. Any shop smart enough to hire this young man has my business anytime I’m having car troubles anywhere within towing distance.
