Among their standout dishes for me is the perfect grilled squid and chicken inasal truly steal the show.The perfect grilled squid is a testament to their expertise in seafood preparation. The squid is cooked to perfection, with a tantalizing smoky flavor and a tender, juicy texture that is simply irresistible. It's seasoned with a blend of aromatic herbs and spices, adding depth and complexity to each bite. Served alongside a tangy and refreshing dipping sauce and a pickled radish. I also loved the egg drop soup as 1 of the sides I chose.Another highlight at Amihan Restaurant is their chicken inasal. This traditional Filipino dish is a crowd favorite for good reason. The best grilled meat from chicken,pork and beef. Also there baked goods like ube cake and pandesal that’s really good for my hot coffee/hot chocolate. Will definitely try everything next time. To all my friends who loves Filipino cuisine try Amihan Grill+ Bakeshop.

Went there for the first time today. Ordered the Caldereta bowl and had fish balls for an appetizer. Food was amazing and I love the way they presented the food. Very well thought out. Also the service and friendliness was above expectations. Picked up some bakery items as well. I’ll have to do another review for those. This place is definitely worth checking out.

The Interior design of the restaurant is modern, clean and pleasant.For service, you can choose where you want to sit or just let the server choose. Once seated when you're ready, pay at the front counter. If you need any help, there is a bell on the table for you press. ConvenientFood: grilled tanigue didn't stand out in my opinion. The egg drop soup was very tasty, I'd definitely get more of the soup if I could. Steamed veggies had a strong garlic taste.BBQ liempo was a little salty so pair it with rice. Buttered corn was starchy making it less sweet, also went decent with the bbq liempo. The fried were standard and crispy.Washroom is very clean and presentable.Overall the restaurant is great, I'd definitely come back to try some other dishes.

Went today to try their prix-fixe menu for the Filipino Restaurant Month. The adobo pao got us to an appetizing start. Then came the kare-kare which was fillingly fantastic! We finished our meal with ube flan which was a delicious cap to our excellent dinner.The place had a warm ambiance which reminded me of the cool easy days in the Philippines.Super friendly and attentive staff who had the trademark Filipino smile and easy going nature which made the whole experience perfect.Five stars all around!

Probably one of my favourite places to eat! The Filipino food was authentic and delicious. I would recommend anyone to come and eat here. I had the braised beef bowl and it’s for sure something you have to come and try :) I’ll be back soon.

A definite hidden gem in Calgary! Come here to try Filipino dishes such as chicken inasal, BBQ liempo (pork belly), bbq skewers, pancit, etc.4 of us tried the starter platter, bbq sampler platter and pancit palabok. The platters are a great way to try a lot of things, but come with an appetite because it’s a LOT of food!There’s also a bakery and you can try Filipino baked goods like Sans Rival, Spanish bread, ensaymada, pandesal, and a variety of Filipino flavoured cakes!Worth the trek!!

Excellent selection of Filipino food. They have a good variety of food for sharing and rice bowls. Sisig and caldereta bowls were so good! They also offer a nice sampler platter (which is a must try!) for your favorite filipino appetizers like kwek-kwek, lumpia etc.The place is also really nice. It’s clean and cozy! It has its own identity reflected by the food presentation, silverware and interior decor.If you’re looking for a great filipino restaurant that is fairly-priced and provides delicious meals, give Amihan a try. You will not regret it :)
