Courtneypark Library

I went to this library today and for the first time I needed help from the staff. A short blond hair lady didn't assist me. She didn't return the books for me to extend the date as my kids were half way through the books. She kept on telling me what I could do but all she had to do was to punch the books as return in the system because today was the due date. I will now have to take time, spend gas and take two kids alone with me find the same books. If someone can tell me who could I complain to then it would be wonderful as the lack of staffs attention and not doing their job to assist people is unfair.

February 2023 5*The city of Mississauga has invested in the libraries infrastructure and love to visit different libraries in the city.The staff is very helpful here and the space has dedicated parking for library visitors.Good collection of books and ample spaces for visitors. There is big computer setups for people to access internet and other facilities.There is play area for kids. Also you can attend different library programs.

A library attached to the high school. Well equipped and furnished. The students are sometimes loud though.

It’s a very perfect place to spent time with books. A quiet place or good place to study. We can arrange meeting,project or can make a open function too.Best thing for library is very well organised, kids have own area to learn.. they books , game , art and culture things to grow and develop.All employees are so helpful.Have fiction books , novels and many more also have international languages (books). It is my first visit to this library and definitely won't be the last.. I loved the ambience, the library is so airy, bright, and spacious. However, the quiet area is not 100% quiet but it is not so bad.

The library, services and staff are great, the patrons however are from hell, there is always a racket! often it feels like they are competing with downtown traffic as to who could be more noisy! I wish they'd post notices asking them to keep it down.

We love going to Courtney Park library. Staff is helpful and friendly.They offer programs for every ages and my son loves going for lego club.They have a seprate section for kids with a small playing area with different toys and games plus they have computer games as well.So many collection of kids books.

Library is ok but not a good place to study . There is quiet area which is not quiet at all because students from lower level make so much noise and library staff doesn’t even tell them to speak slowly. Feels like there is a playground at the ground floor. School kids make so much noise . They should do something about it.

Update in September 2022: while the staff are awesome and so helpful, the school students will come and a lot of times they make a lot of noise and cause distractions. I mentioned this to the staff and they confirmed that this will be reduced to minimum. I may try to find another library where I can get a room as in this library getting a room is restricted to certain conditions. I'm reducing one star only for this issue.---Higly recommend it. There are desks in the lower level on the far end, they are away to a good level where you can engage with a work meeting online using headphones. Also, there are rooms with computers and very quiet where you can find an empty spot and connect your laptop to do your work. Great stuff, and a must to get things done with ease! Also, they have great options for the kids.
