Scandinave Spa Vieux-Montréal

The spa is very clean - I have been going to this location since they opened and surprisingly, they are keeping up the look of it being new.A few changes would go a long way:The music in the quiet room is way too loud! Not very good for relaxing when it’s blasting from a speaker over your head.The “warming benches” near the sauna/waterfall could be warmer.The steam room:It cycles every 10 minutes with a blast of steam and almost completely empties out! It would be nice if it were hotter - and more eucalyptus please!Also the light is WAY TOO BRIGHT! My god it’s like an operating room! When they opened - it was nice and dark - like entering a cave, but now, it’s almost like walking into a wal mart!Nice touches with the new bean bags and blankets around, and also the little batch or chocolate smoothies! Overall a wonderful experience with some room for improvement.I was there at 11:30 am on a Monday - only a handful of people. Just the way I like it

I am writing this review with the hopes that someone with a little common sense managing Spa Scandinave will read this.I have been frequenting the Spa on a few occasions and I have benefited from the massage services on all episodes.I have been thus far quite satisfied with the amenities and the quality of the the massages.The various areas are well kept and the layout is decent.Where my grievance comes from is with I would call ‘taking your customers for granted’ attitude. Let me explain:I had a booking for a massage for my wife and myself on the 20th of December. For circumstances that are not necessary to describe here, our trip from the USA two days prior left my wife stranded on the wrong side of the border. I called to find out if rescheduling was a possibility to find out that their cancellation policies are strict and do not offer flexibility.I emailed them to put it in writing in hopes that someone else with foresight would read it. It was left unanswered.For the reasons stated above, this business does not deserve my approval for what it is worth. Furthermore, I will not return to this spa in the future.Any business prioritizing quick cash over returning customers should reflect upon their model. Don’t get me wrong, I am fully aware of the need of cancellation policies. It is how you handle atypical situations that defines your core values.Good riddance

My wife and I had massages today. Both massages were excellent as was the actual facility. MICHELLE, she is excellent for deep.tissue I took advantage of the hot and cold therapy baths and saunas and the entire experience was excellent

I am sorry to give 1 star but it doesn't deserve more than that.First of all , really expensive for 1 spa , 2 sauna dry/wet. When we got there our locker didn't have anything in it , it was supposed to have a bathrobe and a bath towel.The steam sauna has a nice scent of eucalyptus but thats it. There is a huge gap between when it steams and when it doesnt so after a while its not even warm, even worse when there's a lot of people going in and out and the door won't close well by itself there is always 1inch open so all the steam is gone in 2 minutes.We went on a saturday , we were told it was booked when we got there at 1pm we couldn't get a spot until 5pm obviously with no discount for having less time for the spa but honestly 2hours is enough for this small vanity. However when we got there , we were probably 30 and after 1 hour we were like 50 person and very overcrowded, i wonder what happened to the max capacity that they told us. My fiancée had to sit on my laps for the spa and like i mentionned the steam sauna was so overcrowded i was feeling cold since everyone came in to see that there is no space and leave on multiple occasions.The spa have the weakest jet i have seen yet. Barely noticeable and most of them are broken physically and the piece lie there next to the spa, i counted like 6 so i am guessing they have been there for some time now. The drain is super loud and make weird sounds which is way more annoying than people talking yet staff constantly reminds us to not talk when we are whispering our partner where to go next. The waterfall is okay. Although there's the cold pool next to the spa and when people are not careful they send a ton of cold water into the spa, you can feel the cold into the spa.The dry sauna seemed fine , lot of space and was working well.The rest area is really low budget especially for the beans bag that you can find in school where you touch the floor at some point.There was supposed to have smoothies or whatsoever, never happened. There is no changing room beside one (1 person at the time) outside of the locker/shower room.The showers seems clean though and working.Honestly giving this 4 or 5 stars shows that you have never done another spa than this.

I had the pleasure of visiting Spa Scandinave in old Montreal and I must say, as always it's one of the best spa experiences I have. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly staff and felt instantly relaxed by the tranquil atmosphere.The spa itself is absolutely stunning, I particularly loved the hot area which are at the perfect temperature and provided a soothing massage for my muscles.What really stood out to me, however, was the excellent service provided by the staff. They were knowledgeable, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to ensure that I had a wonderful experience.Overall, I would highly recommend Spa Scandinave Montreal to anyone looking for a truly luxurious and rejuvenating spa experience. It's the perfect place to unwind, relax, and indulge in some much-needed self-care. I can't wait to visit again soon!

Maximum relaxation! After a much needed massage, I spent the rest of the morning lounging around the facility enjoying the various amenities. It’s so serene that I even dozed off for a bit.

Beautiful spa in Old Montreal! Highly recommend. They have one hot and one cold pool, a eucalyptus steam room and a huge dry sauna. Their cold shower was a pain because it was on a sensor so would only turn on for 5-10 seconds. Then you had to step out and back in to get it on again.I’ve been to the sister spa in Blue Mountain and you never have a problem finding a staff member. Someone is always wandering the pools to ensure a peaceful environment. The only time I saw staff was when they came out to refill the smoothie tray and they disappeared just as quickly. About 1.5 hours into my visit several parties arrived that didn’t follow the spa voice policy. I tried to find anyone to speak about it and short of going to the front desk no one was around! So my only suggestion is having a staff on deck or visible in the spa area.

Beautiful sauna, nice rest areas and change room facilities. I appreciated that the (reasonable) price was inclusive of a robe and sandals with no time limit and that tea, apples, and smoothies were served complimentary. The only let down was the 'eucalyptus' steam room. Until we asked them to reset it, it was almost cold with minimal steM, and even after that although it was nice and steamy there was still no eucalyptus.
