Anchor Massage & Therapy

I recently had my first massage at Anchor and I had a lovely experience! Anchor is cozy and warm when you walk through the door. They have a great lounge like area to wait in and the location is nice and central on waterfront. What made my experience though was Natasha Newman. I followed Natasha to Anchor because she has a very caring approach with her clients. The first time I had a massage with her she talked through the issues I was experiencing and then explained what she thought was the source of the problem, what muscles were affected, and what she was going to do to resolve the problem. She cares about her clients and makes sure they leave feeling way better than when they came in. Thanks again for making me feel like a million bucks Natasha and I will see you soon!

I usually don't go for a massage regularly but I went for a 60min one on Aug 1st with Daryl and it was amazing so I went back Aug 6 for a 2hr massage. It was my first time doing a 2hr massage and it was so good! I highly recommend Daryl!!

The environment is quite calming from the moment you walk in. It's professional yet comfortable. I've only been massaged by Sara Martin, the owner. She is incredibly knowledgeable and personable. When I've interacted with other staff they were very friendly and welcoming, as well. I've been a client with Anchor Massage Therapy since before it changed ownership, and I can honestly say the customer service has greatly increased. I enjoy the convenience of booking online, as well as with the Mind Body app. All in all, I always recommend Anchor Massage to my friends and family. It's a great business.

I am always happy to support local small businesses, especially ones owned by women. I have always felt welcomed, safe and comfortable around the staff. They are dynamic and very knowledgeable. I work in the health care field and always recommend them to co workers.

I had a therapeutic massage with Sara today as I had strained my ham-string yesterday due to fatigue. She proposed that I do a more feel-good type of massage w special attention to the tendons that support the hams but not the hams as they are healing. She gave me guidance on how to holistically prevent this type of injury from re-occurring and how to treat it. Thank you bud and congratulations on your new venture! The Japanese mint essential oil is a nice touch;)

Anchor Massage is amazing! And its therapists are extremely knowledgeable, incredibly polite professionalism, and I always feel completely rejuvenated after a treatment! Plus they support the arts by showing great artists in their reception and treatment rooms, and they take part in First Fridays in the Exchange. They are a great team, phone them today and make an appointment!!

I used to work in the area and thought I’d try out Anchor Massage when they were still pretty new. I was really impressed and even got my husband hooked. We’ve been going to Anchor for over a year now. I no longer work in the area but it is worth the drive. Parking can be a bit tricky sometimes, so plan accordingly for time for parking. The receptionists are very professional and polite! I've been a client of Taliah, Raylee, and Sara. They are all wonderful, professional, knowledgeable, and provide assessments and at-home tips for getting through an injury. Love this place!

I've seen several RMTs before but Kate provided the best deep tissue massage I've ever had! She found pressure points that I didn't even know I had. She provided great recommendations for additional stretches and ways to mitigate discomfort at home. Fantastic, profesional manners and a clean and comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I started coming to Anchor Massage Therapy in December 2020. I had been going through a lot of stress/anxiety that started to affect me physically. I am so glad I came here. I have been seeing Julia and she is the greatest.It is a clean place and they are very professional too.Currently, the physical effects from stress/anxiety have subsided and I am in such a good place mentally.
