Great store with more than just seafood items. In a pinch, you could come in and pick up dry pasta, fresh fruits and veg , and of course seafood.I normally come here in the summer for salmon and when the time is right spot prawns and they don't disappoint.A lot of traffic (as you can see from the other posts) are mostly commenting on fish and chips and their other cooked food. Again, it's just a portion of what they do.The fish and chips are solid and the batter is not too thick. Got takeout and ate it 20 minutes later and was still crispy. Recommend calling the order in , especially if it's getting close to lunch time as there is a high school close by and it can get crowded. People talk about the fries and they are good. For value and quantity, it definitely hits the spot. Also tried the curries eggplant halibut wrap. It was good. Maybe a bit mild for my tastes but for those wanting that light curry flavour with their fish, this would work for you.Parking in the complex , with the highschool crowd etc...can be a bit of a slog depending on the time. Though I find the best and easiest place to park is on the street.

After visiting their Victoria location last year, I was keen to go the Vancouver Location in Arbutus for having fish and chips. The fish was delicious, crispy and fresh as expected. We tried sockeye salmon fish, with potato fries, coleslaw salad. We also had the yummy bisque for the first time (a thick seafood fish soup ) with some garlic bread.The prices were very reasonable. Great portion size. The fish and chips dinner is enough for teo people. I will visit this place again for trying the other fish cuisines.

Ordered through Uber Eats yesterday. The food was okay, very under seasoned, everything needed at least a bit of salt and pepper. The yam fries were good and the chowder had a nice mix of seafood, I’ve only ever eaten plain old clam chowder before. Also ordered the cod fish and chips, the fish was cooked and deboned well.

I stopped in to check out the smoked salmon offerings. Top quality product and a variety of options available. I decided to have fish and chips while I was there. I had a piece of halibut. It was everything I want a piece of battered fish to be. Crispy batter, tender, flaky fish. Excellent fries and tartar sauce. The coleslaw was adequate, but not a show stopper. It's worth a trip, for sure!

Customer service was great in helping me decided what I wanted to purchase! Took the time to answer questions and find the right item for me. Food was also amazing, best fish & chips I’ve had in a long time! A must check out when you’re in the area.

My local take-away chippie serves up fresh helpings of Cod, Sablefish, Salmon, & Halibut. I find the portions to be generous & reasonable. Eat it while it's hot otherwise it can lose it's crunchy texture. The yam fries are a great option.

Definitely amazing! Ordered all kinds of deep fried fish and literally everything tastes fresh and amazing. Just a note that there is already tartar sauce in there so you don’t really need to order more lol

Great selection of seafood, and pickled/smoked products. Large condiment section including fresh bread. Small bistro type area. Good prices. Good parking. Friendly helpful staff.

Gak! This used to be my go to place for all things smoked seafood. Everything from smoked oysters and scallops to sable fish and tuna. I recently brought some out of town guests to the store and was very excited. The first clue was, the counter help. What happened. The service used to be great. Now, it was more like we're doing them a favor shopping. But forget that. The smoked items is what we wanted and we ordered oysters, sable fish, salmon, tuna.... You name it. All of it was terrible. The sable fish was like a water logged sponge. Zero flavor and the worst texture ever. The cat wouldn't even eat it. The oysters, tough and salty. The salmon was likewise a weird texture like it had been frozen and defrosted too many times. Adios FAS.

Food was STUPID expensive, $30 for a 2 piece fish and chips. Food was very good and I liked how everything we got was green bin recyclable. But the price was just to much, plus they have no overhead of an indoor restaurant so they really have no excuse.
