In-House Receivable Services (IRS Collections)

Sinclair Madison Gowan aka Sinclair Johnson, (unrelated to me) contacted family known to me and identified herself as a bailiff / collector. They had no collections account for me and was conducting a simple skip-trace pertaining to a litigation matter to which I am a plaintiff in the matter. The necessity of contacting people known to me and identifying herself as a Bailiff / Collector, is uncalled for given the fact she was not contacting them because she was trying to collect a debt of any kind. I already have been victimized enough as I am a survivor of childhood abuse while growing up in government care, and to have this woman, go and contact people and start trying to get information that she has no legal entitlement too is disgusting. The information released to third parties about me by this woman should never have happened. I will ensure my lawyer that is working this file, makes it extremely clear that this conduct is not called for. This matter should have been handled with more grace and tact. As well, it should have been handled by a licensed private investigator not a Bailiff (Collector). This is completely inappropriate. I am all for the other side of the litigation tracking down potential witnesses to build their defence to my litigation suit, but to share such personal information about me to a collection agency is disgusting given this is not a collections matter!.

I wanted to thank IRS, Nash and Sunita for their professional services, they helped me collect my debt, I was told about all the fees up front.. I hired Sinclair at In-House Receivable Services for a personal matter and I could not thank her enough for the teams efforts to help me. I will forever be thankful for their services. I will always refer my family and friends to their services.

This company SCAMMED me. After signing a contract with them and being told there would be no charges (they would take 25% of the amount claimed if they succeed), they took a $500 retainer. This I let go. Then they charged my credit card $1000 without my consent. When I called them to ask why I was charged without permission, Nash told me it would be for them to show up to a court hearing. I said I could go on my behalf and they said I would be refunded if I do that. They told me for 8 months straight that they need to “sort things out with accounting” to refund me, and after charging me without permission and holding my money for 8 months, they suddenly came up with 960$ of charges I never knew about and said I would not be refunded. Instead of helping me claim my money, they stole from me and dragged this on for over a year. When I finally reached out to the manager, Jack, he was extremely rude, said I’m wasting their time, told me he will not refund me and said I should “figure it out on my own”. Absolute scammer. Instead of getting my money back, I now have another $1000 stolen and a new court case to go through. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Great experience, they work hard to recover your unpaid contracts / Invoices.

After an unnecessary and grueling three months of haggling, I have finally reached an agreement in a dispute with IRS over a meager $2,000. When I first started dealing with them one year ago, I did not expect nor wished to endure such a distasteful ordeal. DISCLAIMER: this review is not meant to slander any employee of IRS or IRS itself. Rather, Dear Reader, it is a factual recollection of correspondence that is preserved in an email chain.

At my witts-end trying to collect a substantial invoice almost 8 months overdue I turned to IRS for help. I hired IRS on a Tuesday and had the invoice paid 4 days later. I can’t say enough about Ross and Shellie. I hope I never have to hire a collection agency again, but if I do; there’s no doubt it will be IRS!
