Alex, Steve, and Dakota were very professional. I live in Princeton, BC and had contacted several contractors who either didn't return my call or did not service the Princeton area. Alex came by the very next day to give me an estimate and discussed the replacement of the aging furnace, and new installation of the air conditioner. I had an estimate in hand later that day and within a week, the furnace had been replaced, AC installed and the entire work area was left clean and tidy. Very impressed. I am also a tradesman and it was very refreshing to see that there are still good quality people applying their craft. I would not hesitate to utilize their services at a later date, and highly recommend Response to others. Excellent value for the money.

I highly recommend this company. The service was so fast and efficient. The owner is very knowledgeable and kind. Our furnace broke during a cold snap and Alex came out the day we called. The workers who came to install our furnace were so kind and professional. We had a brand new furnace the next day! Extremely satisfied with the serve we received.

Alex brought my faith back in humanity! During the winter he walked me thru transfering my heat pump over to my gas furnace as this is new to me and came and checked everything out for my heat pump so i can be comfortable in ac this summer!! We have been very patient; given this company multiple opportunities to fix this. We contracted this company to install a new air conditioner, furnace, and ducting as well as an on demand water heater. We did our research and received 3 quotes. Response was not the cheapest but seemed to be the most thorough. They did the work in November of 2021. Everything seemed fine until we went to turn on our AC in the summer of 2022, the breaker blew. So we had an electrician come in and check it and he determined that the breaker was fine; but the wiring was done incorrectly by the HVAC company. We called the owner, he came and confirmed that it was wired incorrectly. This was repaired. We had AC for about 4 days and then it stopped working. The owner came back and told us it was a faulty part. He replaced it under warranty a number of weeks later and then 4 days later after replacing it the AC quit again. He came back and told us there is a leak. By this time it's August and we don't have any AC and haven’t for most of the summer. Maybe 8 days in total. And he has stopped responding. A year later we still don't have a functioning air conditioner. We went the whole summer without AC. Initially the owner did come a couple of times and told us it was this thing and the next but then he stopped responding to our phone calls and emails. We have since had other HVAC professionals come in and they have informed us that an inferior job was performed. We spent almost $40, 000 to get this work done and we have had to have someone else come in and fix it. They left a mess in our crawl space - garbage, cigarette wrappers, parts, etc. They also didn't bother connecting some of the ducting - it just blows heat into our crawl space. We understand staffing issues and that management can't be everywhere to supervise, but a professional would come fix what isn't working and not avoid our calls. Avoid this company at all costs.

Initially very easy to deal with and came to the house that morning. Changed our furnace filter, (which we already had) charged me almost 160$ and told me to keep him posted if it stopped working again.. which it did. Did not respond to texts, I called and was told they could try again 3 days later. After speaking with my partner I tried reaching out again to confirm and no response. Ever. 3 weeks later and we have fixed our own furnace.

We used Response for a new heat pump integrated into our forced air system. They were timely, knowledgeable and the final price was as quoted, despite a few upgrades. I would recommend.

We needed air conditioning in our home, we have a fairly new heating system. Alex assessed what we needed, gave us a price that we were very pleased with. and the next week they were here installing the system. Stephen and Dakota, Alex's apprentices, were very professional, and efficient. Inside of 4 hours our system was installed and ready to go. They even cleaned and vacuumed where they had worked.
