Big Beef Bowl 牛大碗
Nothing too special but maybe worth considering during a cold rainy day - got the beef with pickled mustard (says spicy on the menu but not spicy at all) with the flat regular noodles and the meat sauce noodle with flat thick noodles. They’re not as chewy as I’d like them to be

One of my favourite spots in Markham for hand pulled noodles - Big Beef Noodle is a family owned restaurant that I highly recommend. Even when its hot or cold, something about their soup noodles always hits the spot! Usually we're fairly lucky to be able to grab a seat quickly during common lunch hour, but I can gurantee that although they have plenty seats available, Big Beef Bowl always fills up fast with families, couples, friends etc.Their menu consists of the classic noodle dishes you can choose from, as well as the noodle style youd like. They also have many asian appetizers/snacks, clay pot rice, rice rolls and Shanghai fried buns! I always opt for the Spicy Braised Beef noodles, and if youre worried about the spice hiting you, it's honestly mild (to me LOL). There's homemade chilli sauce on the sauce if youd like to add more kick. The Shanghai Fried Buns are delicious as well, but I would definitely wish it had abit more juice as sometimes they're abit soup less in comparison to many I've had.Overall the service, and food is quick, satisfying and perfect if youre on the go. My new favorite place for rice roll! Better than all other rice roll restaurants I tried. The 牛三星 is very good but the portion is too big, couldn’t finish it by myself. They are very busy during lunch hours. Both dine in and take out portions are huge. Not a big fan of their noodle though.

The classic braised beef Noodle Soup is good, I ordered the skewers as well which were all pretty tasty. It is extremely busy however and you may need to wait awhile for seats.

Well done. Great place to eat noodles. Cold chicken was good, pan friend soup dumpling taste a bit sweet side, but overall really good. Would definitely recommend for a good big bowl of noodles.

Big Beef Bowl 牛大碗
Big Beef Bowl is a spot folks hit up for affordable Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles. We went with the flow to check it out. Sometimes it’s a success, other times it can be a miss. Sadly this time it was the latter result.We were immediately seated in the spacious restaurant. The chefs were busy pounding & stretching out the latest noodle pulls. It took a while to notice we were ready to order. Our large order of Classic Beef arrived in a huge bowl with our choice of flat noodles. It was topped by plenty of parsley but only a few thin slices of beef & radish. Beef was bland but more importantly, the broth was not up to par with our recent Lanzhou noodles elsewhere.Our other bowl with Braised Beef Brisket was similar but with round noodles. The darker broth was a little spicier, however we weren’t impressed by its depth. Sure hope Bruce Lee isn’t frowning from those wall frames!

Nice little noodle restaurant in Markham. One chef in the kitchen making hand pull noodle all the time. Noodle cooked perfectly and soup is tasty without msg. Recommended if you are around the area.

I have a braised beef brisket with regular flat noodle for lunch. The beef is soft. The noodle is aldente. The soup base is also rich in taste. Impressive in general.The attendants are friendly, diligent and helpful. They are also patient in breaking down the charges for us when we would pay separately.If I need to be picky, the cleanness of the place needs to be improved.After all, a nice noodle restaurant.

When you walk into Big Beef Bowl it feels like you’ve walked right into a noodle shop in Kowloon City! The decor is very simple (love the Bruce Lee art!) but the food is the star. The customer service was excellent- very warm and welcoming. The classic beef noodle is delicious. The hand pulled noodles are fresh and come in 3 sizes. My husband ordered a clay pot rice dish- chicken and mushroom with a home made XO sauce. I don’t think you could get better! They also sell their own chili sauce- which we couldn’t get enough of. Go check this place out- definitely worth it!

Big Beef Bowl 牛大碗
Hands down the best noodle place in the GTA. I love their meat sauce, beef with pickled mustard and all the side dishes you can get. They also have an amazing hot chili oil that you can purchase by the jar. I've eaten here dozens of times and will be coming back and back again for years to come
