Excellent advice on purchases and gear they carry. Nate took the time to understand what I was looking for and suggested something in my budget range which I am very happy with. Passionate employees and owner who care. Leyland also helped with the actual gear audition and was very pleasant and helpful.

Awesome store!! Leyland was great to deal with!I wanted an REL 9ti sub.... It was recommended that i get two smaller REL 7ti models for the size of my room.....It was more than I initially wanted to spend, but I took the advice and went with the recommendation ...After some setup advice and following the instructions, All I can say is wow!! What a difference!!!!I'm very happy & I'm still dialling it in...!!I definitely will be contacting them again!

This is a great store with some of the best audio equipment available anywhere in the world. The selection of high end product is unparalleled in Ontario, and probably Canada. It’s worth going just to see what’s on display and to learn a thing or two about high end audio.

sold me a system that was a little over my budget but am I ever happy. They will clarify your needs to help you buy a system that you will be happy with in the long run. Bought my first Vanderstien speakers there many years ago and have been happy with their products and service ever since.

Angie's is my go-to audio shop. There's something for almost all budgets but it leans toward the high and ultra-high end. Angie is super generous with her time and knowledge. She is always happy to put a piece on and let you listen to what she's got hooked up and is genuinely excited to share new discoveries with you. The rest of the staff is just as generous with their time and knowledge and happy to explain anything to you.

American Sound is a great high end Audio store. Nate is fantastic and really takes the time to know the customer. He has a lot of knowledge and fantastic to deal with. They have several rooms you can audition speakers, amps, receivers ect...They carry great equipment and there prices are reasonable. If you're looking for high end audio this is the place to go.

I put my original system together over 10 years ago. Angie patiently listened with me for hours to understand the sound I was looking for and built my system till I was satisfied. I have upgraded most of the cables and pieces recently and received the same care and patience as before. I call Angie the sound doctor. She seems to understand the sound one is looking for and which pieces and cables go together to achieve it, without overselling anything. The rest of the team is knowledgeable and passionate about sound. There is no other store in Toronto that offers this level of knowledge and equipment that I know of. Shop with confidence.

I tend to return to this place when I’m short on audio equipment to satisfy my growing demands in the audio quality. I’m tech savvy and used to follow forums or scan online shopping sites for great deals. I do believe there is a place for Angie after all that. I believe it is impossible to replace experiencing the beauty of the audio yourself to make the final decision. No review on Amazon will give you that. Add on top awesome guides Angie has. They are up to speed on the industry’s trends and will give you a good advice based on your goals and preferences. I love personalized experience and value their advise to crosscheck what I read online. I hope to be able to come back in the future. Thanks.

I don’t buy a lot of gear from here but every time I go I am well taken care of by Leland. My latest purchase was patiently attended to while I compared different models. Delivered perfectly and at fair prices. Thanks
