Chez Ping Restaurant
We arrived for dim sum, late apparently.They gave us the options left of the dim sum cart and then didnt come back again. We ended eating 4 small sharing plates worth of food which was not nearly enough. Tasted OK but was all cold. Didnt ask if we want to order off the menu. The whole place was dusty and covered in finger prints and scum from dirty hands. Dont want to know what the kitchen is like. You're greeted by a bunch of fish begging to be saved, jammed into a tank so small they couldnt even turn around. We won't go back.

It was okay... would have to try a different plate? My mom and I did not like the chow mein but her husband said it was alright.. the won ton soup and the spring roll and sauce was delicious. The waitress knew I did not like it. I had two bites and did not touch the plate but nothing was offered.. paid for something I did not eat:( she also said its normal for noodles to be dry (some were). It was either not cooked or old dried up noodles. It was drenched in a thick oily sauce which ruined the plate for me. Too bad.

The general tao chicken was good and the steamed rice. The beef with ginger and shallots was a disappointment no nice slices of ginger at all and mostly onions 3 tiny strips of shallots not much beef at all either. Just order the general tao.

Chez Ping Restaurant
Decided to try a new spot, out of my neck of the woods, and was very happy with the results!Chez Ping isn’t much for atmosphere, which I don’t care that much about, but had a homey feeling. I was alone in the restaurant (a Sunday at 130pm) but was seated and order taken right away. I had the Beef and snow pea pods, because it’s a good baseline test for me of a Chinese place, and it came fast and fresh. It was delicious and not overwhelming, just a basic flavour but rich and not too salty.Not sure about the speed for take out or delivery, but the meal was good, and the price about what you’d expect in the current financial climate.I’ll definitely come back if I’m nearby!

Chez Ping Restaurant
Used to order regularly online for delivery. online is now pickup only (new online menu system). Not sure if I'm doing something wrong. There is a button on the new site that says report a problem, I've done this twice with no response. I know I'm a good customer but I'm being ignored. So far three weeks of my business has been lost. Stars go back to 5 if I get response and resolution.

I ordered chow Fun, General Tao and spring rolls. Everything arrived at my door hot and the food was fresh and delicious! Nice treat for my birthday dinner!
