Platinum Appliance Repair

I would not purchase anything from this company. I bought a refrigerator, had it delivered. I hooked it up and the ice maker doesn't work, and the support for the shelves is broken. Cleverly hid at time of purchase. It came with a 90 day replace or repair warranty and a 1 year parts warranty. The company has stopped responding to me. She only contacted me twice with excuses of why they can't come out yet. And now no response whatsoever. And I am stuck with a broken refrigerator. I contacted the BBB as well.

I had a leaking washing machine, I needed to have it fixed and wasn't too sure who to call. I have used home stars in the past to find quality driven and trustworthy contractors. Alex came to my house and diagnosed the problem, and arranged to come back for part installation. Alex was punctual and gave me a fair price, as well as some good advice. I'd definitely use him again.

American West Appliance Repair is the best appliance company I ever hired. I used another company in the past that was not nearly as professional but they are. The technician was on time, friendly and a very good worker. He did a neat and accurate job. He was reasonable too.

A friend of mine recommended me Platinum Appliance Repair guys after using them previously. They installed my dishwasher in my new home . They cleaned up after themselves and were polite throughout the process. I am very satisfied and won't mind to use them again in the future if needed.

I was referred to Platinum Appliance Repair by my washing machine manufacturer from Niagara. On the same day I was contacted by Platinum Appliance Repair and given an appointment for that afternoon. 15 minutes before his arrival, the engineer, Peter, rang to say he would be here in 15 minutes which he was. Peter asked about the problem, made some checks and got my machine working properly again which he demonstrated by using the machine. He then gave me some tips about getting the best out of the machine. He was pleasant, efficient and helpful throughout. Thank you!

It is hard to find a good appliance repair company these days. And I am very pleased to say that I have. American West Appliance Repair was not only prompt and professional but reasonably priced as well. They fixed my washer and refrigerator. I strongly recommend.

I called them up and within an hour Sam was at my door. I showed him my problem, and within a day, we had the required part. We are extremely pleased with the fast service and the friendly way. We will most definitely call them again in the future if we need any of our appliances repaired. Also, I would feel quite confident recommending them to our friends.

I paid $170 in total to have my fridge repaired, $100 went towards having someone come in and inspect the fridge, and the other $70 went towards the repair. 5 days after they serviced my fridge, my fridge was still not working well and I called back asking for a someone to come back in and take a second look. The adviser on the phone kept cutting me off and speaking over me while I was trying to explain my case, telling me I would still be charged the repair fee for them to fix my fridge and that it cannot be waved... In other words they want me to pay an additional repair fee for them to this time do the right repair when they should have gotten it right the first time. It's not fair that I wasted $70 dollars for them to do the wrong repair. That's on them for misdiagnosing the issue and doing the wrong repair, but they still force the customer to pay the price for their mistake. That's unfair, and I feel violated as a customer. I do not recommend this company to anyone seeking repair services of any kind.

As a landlord, I have used Platinum many times and found them to be reliable, competitively priced and sympathetic to tenants needs too. I would not hesitate in recommending them to other landlords or homeowners.
