WASAGAS CURRY AND COCKTAIL
We ordered takeout on Wednesday July 5 at 6:27 pm. Our check # was 35701. We ordered prawn curry. We did not receive prawns, it was very small shrimps in the curry plate. And they were even small for shrimps. We ordered prawn pakora and we have had prawn pakora at many Indian restaurants and the pakora's we received were so small they were not even bite sized. We ordered lamb curry and there was barely any lamb meat ( just like the prawn curry) and the lamb meat pieces were smaller than cubes of meat. We ordered garlic naan which tasted good and was perfected baked but again the portion of the naan bread was one very small piece for $3.25. We ordered saffron rice and our rice was over cooked with too much water and only had food coloring on the top portion of the rice, no saffron at all and our rice did not look like the saffron rice in the photos in other google reviews. We were ripped off for $71.12. I guess the staff assumed because we ordered takeout and we were from out of town they could get away with this. We have eaten at many Indian restaurants all over Canada. In our opinion this restaurant is terrible. We highly question of the authenticity of the good reviews for this restaurant also. We also notice this restaurant does not respond to truthful reviews which looks like an admission of guilt ? Please consider our terrible truthful experience before ordering at this restaurant. Something does not add up here because there is not many negative reviews here and based on our terrible experience this makes no sense at all. Are they removing negative reviews from google somehow ? Is the 4.6 average for all reviews a false review rating with real negative reviews being removed ? Please be aware.

Pleasantly surprised!We didn't have much expectations from this place, we thought it's just another indian restaurant and we were hungry, so we walked in.My oh my were we surprised!!We ordered - tandoori chicken, paneer, chana batura, chicken biryani, veg biryani and mutton.Each dish was amazing!The biryani were so flavourful and the meat was perfectly cooked..Staff was great.Qty was just right, not too less not too much either.Price is at par with other restaurants, definitely worth it.One suggestion would be to add more lights for outdoor seating.Will definitely visit if in the area.

Food was ok, not that great. We went by the google reviews and online menu. It seemed promising. Disappointment was when we got the menu in the restaurant. The actual in store menu was priced different than the online menu. We asked the owner why is that. The reason was upsetting. Owner responded saying that the menus are different because that will get them more clients and that they are busy during summer so they don’t have time to update the website. It was a stupid reasoning.Kashmiri nadru was good starter. Food quantity is very small and priced high. Mango lassi was good. Staff were polite. Seemed like family business with one-two staffWashrooms were cleanNot eager to visit again

Just another place you can try once but won't give you a reason to ever come back.Garlic Naan had zero garlic and is rather small in size. Each order is personal size, can't really be shared.Found very little value in rest of order1 meat, 1 veg biryani, 1 big side lemon rice, 2 naans, 1 raita and 1 chutney came to a shade under $60 . Stop the madness. The portion sizes would feed 3 people at the most. Meat dish was maybe a quarter chicken tops for nearly $20, rest was rice and yogurt.Besides that the takeout order was a mess. Falling apart containers barely holding in the food from spilling over.You take a bite and just don't taste much love in it. Poorly put together.One and done. Never again.

The great Indian cuisine restaurant near wasaga beach. We have tried all the veg options this time but whatever we tried was delicious. The prices are economical and pocket friendly.

Nice authentic restaurant in the area. Pleasant service. Very good food if you are craving something authentic and a food to warm you up garlic naan is absolutely a must try(!)

The area is a tourism place, as the customers we are completely understanding it. But the thing is if there are customers waiting who came earlier before the newest customers are being taken care of the service. We also paying the same so, it may sound better if the restaurant can manage to have some people who can really serve the customers on an appointment basis or whatsoever. It may be hard but we as customers we wish we were served fair.Thank you !

Service is quick but food is average, we ordered honey cauliflower, dal makkhani, paneer and kofta… am sorry to say not even a single dish met my expectation

My two adult daughters are the experts in this food category. All agreed excellent taste and portion sizes. 4 adults and two children for $140 before tips including a couple house wines and mocktails- great for post beach with young children.
