Awesome experience! You couldn't find a better place to learn the basics of sewing and even more advanced projects. Staff and owners are awesome and wanted to make sure I felt welcomed and found everything u needed. 110% the best place to buy high quality fabrics and notions, would definitely recommend to any sewer. Machine repairs were quick and very helpful.

When I first walked in this store, I had a cheap sewing machine, and vague dreams of being able to sew. Laura and her staff asked a lot of questions I didn't understand, but took their time explaining what they meant, in terms I could understand. I still have the same cheap sewing machine, but I can now sew at a novice level, and I'm anxious to do more! A+ service, no upselling, and lots of desire to share their love of sewing.

First class all the way. Laura knows how to choose staff because everyone in this shop is so helpful and friendly. Every time I go there I’m greeted by name and that means a lot to me. This is my favourite sewing shop for so many reasons. First the staff, as I mentioned, are the best. There’s a great selection of fabrics and notions and a very generous loyalty rewards program. Also the help and motivation these folks provide is downright inspirational! I just love this shop!

Laura is such an amazing person! We needed a costume for our daughters dance and Laura spent timeto teach me how to make the costume! I spent multiple Saturday’s watching Laura interact with her customers providing each and everyone with personalized service. Laura knew all of her customers by name and always made sure she provided them with the best service in town. Who can forget Chloe? the amazing and talented young lady who works at Groovy Threads! This young lady not only shared her most recent projects, she also jumped into help me whenever I needed a helping hand.I honestly can’t say enough good things about Groovy Threads! If you love VIP treatment just walk through the door and I know you will find it here❤️

Was very pleased with the service I received. Was looking for fabric for a peplum top for my daughter. Staff was very helpful. Love the fabric that I picked was easy to sew with.
