CIBC Branch with ATM

Wouldn't recommend seniors who have trouble understanding their bank account going their alone. Seems like some tellers will confuse these seniors when withdrawing money and pocket some of the cash into their own pockets. Daylight robbery at its finest. Seniors are more vulnerable to this kind of theft and should be more cautious going to a bank. If anyone is deposting cash or cheque through a teller please please double check the balances and make sure all the numbers match up before leaving the bank. I would just recommend going through the ATM machine.

We recently refinance our mortgage with Goldie Sharma, our mortgage advisor.It was an absolute pleasure working with him. He takes the time to review, look out for your best interest and not to mention very explanatory for everything.He is truly dedicated to his work and I would be happy to recommend him to anyone looking to mortgage advice.

Horrible customer service. I went to the branch because I wanted to withdrawal $3000 cash as I went to their another location before and I did withdraw 3K there and I have been told to go to another location to see if they have enough cash available there. The teller was extremely rude to me. I get it that she was asking questions because of large amount of money but still after providing my id’s and everything she refused. Then the manager came and he told me to step aside and come to his office. I went into his office and I told him I have been working with scotiabank as a financial advisor and I have worked with CIBC before so I have an idea how their policies work and everything. But he asked me to prove him that i work for scotia. After showing him my job offer letter he was not satisfied. I told him i can show you my payroll coming into my account. He went through my CIBc account transactions and told me there is no payroll deposit. Oh come on!!! You are working as a manager and you are suppose to know when you work for any specific bank your payroll will come into that bank only not cibc account. Anyways, After i showed him deposit he was convinced and gave me cash. Which is my own money from my own account. Great!! So my question goes what is the relationship between withdrawing money and confirming my job letter payroll deposit. Just think for a second, if have been working for any other employer except for any bank then I would not be able to get any cash. You can confirm the right identity from Ids, security questions and there are so may things ( my picture) but asking for my job information job letter and salary is completely ridiculous. I am not sure if anyone else’s is going to read this review other than bank manager. If someone is reading this, i would suggest he should go into basic training first before serving other clients. Learn the basic customer service skills first and teach your staff as well. Definitely not going to that location again.

Absolutely abhorrent customer service when dealing with Marlene D. She failed to return calls in a timely manner, doesn't leave a vm that she called so didn't actually know she called until I checked phone logs for another number. When asked, she simply said, OH LORD!" When I asked for her manager's name and to passed tk them

I don’t have an account with CIBC just my auto loan .. came in here to make a payment. This is the worst bank I have ever been to. Lines move so slow and I don’t know whether he is the bank manager or what but he is so rude! He came over to those of us standing in the line ( I guess to move over to the COVID ) stickers and he just brushed past and told me to move over in such a condescending and arrogant way. No eye contact , no manners what’s so ever! So rude

Horrible Experience even before opening an account. Visited branch to get the information regarding opening an account. The person gave me his business card and told me to book an appointment via phone. Trying to call him from last 10 days. I guess I have to book an appointment to book an appointment...LOL....

I went to this branch to withdraw GIC, teller was a nice lady however one of the service attendant in cubical was highly unprofessional person. He approached us in regional language and the way approached was weird. He was kind a forcing us to borrow money on our credit line from the bank. After refusing so many times, I got annoyed and on which he told that he can refuse to proceed. Upon complaint, lady in front desk assured me to relay my feedback to bank Manager.Next day bank manager called me saying that I threatened his representative and was trying to defend his staff. After I explained him the whole scenario he apologized for the behaviour however was still defending unprofessional attitude of his representative saying that he is a trainee.The person approached us like doing favour to us and gave weird looks on different occasions. I prefer going to another bank than this branch. This star is only for the teller and except that it was terrible experience.

Left my debit card in the machine by accident -- realized about 15 mins later and came back to get it. Teller gave me a lot of attitude and told me I'm 'lucky she didn't cut it up the second she saw it.' I provided her with 3 different pieces of ID matching the signature and name, and she still refused to give it back to me. After multiple attempts of trying to talk some sense into her, she finally handed it back to me. What's her problem?

I have nothing but praise for the awesome and patient service I received from customer representative Mr. Keval Shah who works at North Park Drive branch. As an international student he went beyond the call of service to assist and orient me on the necessary banking and online services. It is individuals such as these that will represent the bank and keep the CIBC brand strong.CIBC should give serious thought into inducting such an individual into its management team. Keep up the fantastic work and many heartfelt thanks and appreciation again for your kindness.
