Active Healthcare Centre

After leaving another therapeutic centre I found Dr Brittany at Active health care. I cannot say enough for her thorough and continued therapeutic care. After years of physiotherapy elsewhere I have never felt better in such a short time going to see Dr Brittany. Her services have been nothing short of respectful, understanding, knowledgeable and experienced. I totally give thumbs up for her most outstanding professional manner. Thank you Dr Brittany.

I have been going to Active Healthcare for years. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Elizabeth is amazing. She goes above and beyond- always listens well and I feel very welcome and informed. It’s more than just an “adjustment” - they can also use laser, cupping, graston and active release so they have many modals that can assist you in healing and keeping you tip top! The whole staff is friendly, the office is clean and very professional!!

If this review was strictly on services I would have to give them a 4 possibly a 5 star. Dr.Elizabeth is friendly and knowledgeable and massage therapist Brianna has magical fingers that work out any kinks or sore muscles you may have. Now onto the BAD. All you are to them is dollar signs. I was involved in a major car accident and my insurance company paid out a certain amount to cover physiotherapy. Dr.Elizabeth didn't think this was enough and filed another form to get more money out of them. I asked her if this could affect my insurance due to the fact that I just had a at fault accident and now were trying to get more money from them. She assured me that no" this would not affect my coverage. Fast forward a couple months and I had to make an appointment for some more paperwork to be filled out for my continued time off work. Upon arrival the receptionist informed me that Dr.Elizabeth would not see me. I was shocked since she has been my only health care provider handling my case. They still owe me 11 paid for massages that I haven't been booked in for and if your not profitable to them then your just a nuisance to them. Very poor business practices. Oh and on top of that my insurance company dropped me. Thanks Active Healthcare."

Dr. James and Dr. Elizabeth are both incredible! The office is calming and relaxing. I highly recommend them and their team.

I saw 2 other chiropractors before I found them. I was nervous and had anxiety. But this couple are truly amazing at what they do. Very kind and caring and work with you and your body. I don't want to see any other chiropractor and I recommend them to everyone. I can't say enough good things about them.

First visit today, the DR was calm and light hearted. Very understanding and communication was amazing. Felt good after one treatment and was even given homework" stretches that will helpwith the issue that will persist for a bit"

I came in with chronic (pinched) nerve pain in my R hip down to my knee.... I had put up with dull to managable pain for over a year. Then things got worse.. And worse... And it became so painful I couldn't sleep well. Standing and sitting either way was a chore....I saw James...And now I can say, my leg is 80% better and I had best sleep last night in a long while... thank you! Sincerely, BM

For 10 years I suffered from pain in my neck due to tension. I wasn’t able to turn my head very well . James applied acupuncture and an alignment and it Was 90% better in one treatment. I was in shocked that I had suffered so long with it and it went away so easily. Thank you so much for that James.also the massage therapist are amazing! thanks to Fiona and Brianna thank You ladies. The only downfall is that it takes a months to get in.

I had never received chiropractic care before so I was a bit hesitant but the professional and safe atmosphere put me right at ease. Dr. Elizabeth is knowledgeable and experienced and has helped with several issues I have struggled with for years. I can't recommend them enough, especially for the chronic foot pain I experienced from plantar fasciitis. I have also had massage treatments at the clinic and again experienced top notch excellent care each time. The office is well run, super organized and always clean, totally recommend Dr. Elizabeth, Dr. James and their amazing team!
