Came in for lunch after an appointment, had the chicken Caesar saladSalad was absolutely amazing. Tasted really good!!! The soup was hot and also very tasty. The lady that served us was very kind. I'll be back this Thursday for lunch again!

Wow! My daughter went to Dawning restaurant to pick up some soup for me as I’m sick in bed. Unbelievably amazing soups! She got the cream of vegetable as well as the cabbage borscht and I love them both! The borscht was the best I’ve ever had hands down. So fresh, homemade, flavourful and nourishing. Great price too. We live in North Kildonan but we will absolutely make the drive to eat their food again and again!

One of Winnipeg's classic regulars restaurants"! You know it's good if everyone seems to come back again and again.The menu was much larger than expected and the food was delicious

Had cottage cheese perogies with farmer sausage. The perogies were excellent! But IMO they need to get a better supplier for farmer sausage. It was dry and had a very tough skin. Maybe this was because of the way it was prepared, but l don't think that is the only reason.

Great local restaurant, ran by very nice people. This place is my go to for breakfast. Affordable and delicious. The potatoes set them apart from other standard breakfast places.

Found this breakfast place from Google maps. Had a 4.4 star rating so thought I would try. Good food. Breakfast with a twist…some type of a pattie made from dried cottage cheese with onions and mild spice. Love it!

1 visit and it’s not quite a 4. We had breakfast and we both thought the potatoes were kind of bland. My eggs were absolutely perfect. Bacon was a decent portion but unremarkable. The ham was also a good size and well enjoyed. Coffee was awful, service was spot on and pleasant. We look forward to returning for lunch or supper at some point, we’ve heard good things.

I come here everyday when in town. Farmer hash with eggs Benedict or the 8 dollar specials they have. Along with a cabbage borscht soup. My wife always gets the Denver sandwich with no mayo. The hashbrowns are the best.
