Anna was so friendly and knowledgeable. She helped myself and my friends with jewelry placement and I’m in Love with her recommendation. She took the time to make sure we would be happy with what we got and provided clear aftercare education. I also Love that the jewelry sterilization machine is out in the open so you know everything is super clean. There were snacks too for after. Would definitely get poked again!

I first visited Anna after a different piercer in Fredericton pierced my rook with a bar that was so long it got wedged and was swelling up badly. Anna saved that piercing by swapping the jewelry to something shorter, and they've since done several piercings for me over the last few years (septum, double conch, conch, helix, and flat). They're a very knowledgeable and competent piercer. Anna always takes the time to plan out each piercing to make sure the placement is exactly what I'm looking for.It's hard to know why exactly, but I've also had an easier time healing piercings Anna has done--I assume it's the implant-grade titanium jewelry and careful placement? But I swear they're just magic.I also really appreciate that Anna has helped me select, order, and install jewelry, even for piercings I already had that they didn't pierce (including my slightly wonky rook that needed a J curve bar to look right). Above and beyond service, I strongly recommend Black Pear!

Excellent service. In the last year I've gotten a septum, Medusa, labet (bottom) and just had an Erl piercing done. Very happy with all my work. Anna is a delight and always makes you feel comfortable. Will be getting more.

Fantastic experience getting my helix pierced. Anna put me at ease about my fears and made me feel comfortable as soon as walked in. The environment is clean and pleasant, and there is a great variety of jewelry to choose from. Anna explained everything from the process to the aftercare clearly, making sure to ask me if I had questions. I’ve gone to Anna for several piercings (nose, navel, and a few different ear piercings) and my experience has been amazing every time. They are very knowledgeable, talk you through the whole process, and it’s easy to feel calm and comfy with them. Got my nipples re pierced today by Anna and I had by far the best experience with a body piercer. She was outgoing and kind, her shop and her technic was very clean and very organized! Even though I have had this type of piercing before she explained the process to me and it was more detailed and helpful than other artist have given me. The price was fair and she had lots of jewelry options. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend to everyone!

I had the pleasure of getting my Medusa pierced by Anna today. It was the best experience I’ve ever had with a piercer. She is knowledgeable, funny and so friendly. Anna is absolutely amazing. I'm a very shy and anxious person. Anna was able to get me relaxed and totally comfortable. She is very knowledgeable and everything was sterile. Anna made the whole piercing process fun. I highly recommend her and will definitely be going back.
