Kind and caring staff. Lots of activities for residents.

My mother has been at Devonshire Care Home since October 2022. She has had such good care that we as a family believe we can rest easy because all her needs are met in an exceptional way. It is always clean and there are never any bad odours from the cleaning of their patients.The rooms have large windows so the sun can make each room inviting. Even on rainy or snowy days, it doesn’t feel gloomy at all. My mother’s room faces a busy street, but for our Mother, that was the best room for her. All her life she was a people watcher, and watching the traffic seems to truly calm her. It is not noisy, but the constant movement really attracts her.I would highly recommend Devonshire Home Care. They honestly care for their patients in an exceptional way, that allows each patient to feel they are wanted, and cherished. That is so important, especially as each patient is facing different challenges in their life that can cause frustration, and other issues.Thank you to all the staff for caring so deeply for our Mother in the Doulton area, and in the whole facility. You are definitely appreciated.

June 28th, 2019 I entered this Long Term Care Facility to assess it's adequacy for placement of my 87 year old mother. We had been instructed by our placement worker the previous day to pick 3 to 4 facilities that we would prefer to place our mother in for LTC.I inquired at the reception at approximately 11 am, speaking with the receptionist regarding touring the LTC ward. I was immediately told in quite a stern response that tours are held every Thursday. I stressed to her that we needed to provide our selections by Tuesday morning of the following week, if anything could be done to provide me any information whatsoever. Again, she replied in a snotty response, Tours are Thursdays". I responded that based on her lack of customer service I would not be adding this facility on our list of suitable facilities for my mother.First impressions are typically an indication of what you get is what you get

Staff is very good and caring. The rooms are spacious and nice facility.

They treat my uncle well...no place is ever perfect, but I feel it is alright. It is also very clean, and the rooms are nice along with 80% of the staff.It does not have a smell like some facilities.I am grateful for all they do to take care of people with as much dignity as possible.♡

This facility is such a great place. The staff treat their clients like family and I’ve a great deal of respect for everyone there. The management always has an eye out to give the best care possible. It’s very reassuring to have a loved one in this facility. They really care about their clients and are very kind people. Family can rest easy knowing their loved ones are here.

The COVID protocols at this senior's home are hefty to keep residents in utmost safety. My father is in care here and I am thankful to have seen him in person!

Great Homemade Food!! Staff are amazing, Fantastic place for my mother to live.

The staff are so kind and respectful towards the residents. They keep us well informed about how our loved one is doing when we are unable to be there. We know she is in good hands.

This place is separate from the other half of this building also called Devonshire. It was confusing at first when reading reviews trying to figure out best choices for my grandmother. My grandma is fully mentally aware of her surroundings; her experience has been really good over these past 9 months of her being there; even during covid. Staff overall were very kind to her and they also have pretty good food. Overall well run facility from her, and my family’s perspective. Thanks Devonshire!
