High Energy Animal Training (HEAT)

Can’t say enough good things about HEAT! We started bringing our 8 month old Bernedoodle here a little over a month ago. He LOVES coming and gets so excited when we pull up. The staff are so friendly and you can tell they care a lot about the dogs and have a lot of fun with them. Our puppy comes home happy and exhausted from playing all day. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Trevor and his team are awesome. Always greeted with top notch customer service.It's unfortunate that they had an incident that lost the life of a puppy.One thing Trevor will take from this is to:A- not hide itB - learn from it to ensure it doesn't happen againC - don't give training jobs to people who are not trainedReviews however should be based on people's experience with H.E.A.T directly and NOT be based on what people have heard from others. This is where Google should step in and set it up somehow that unless you have used a business pacifically you can't post a negative review.Many things could have happened, the pet owners could have gone into the pen and retrieved their dog if they felt it was under distress, I would have.Trevor has a great set up here with a lot of happy dogs I see when I go there.His delay in posting, could have be trauma, lawyer advice, etc....Don't judge someone for not posting something about the incident that second.Trevor put things in place to prevent another situation like this but know you are a good person and offer an amazing daycare, just make sure your people are trained to recognize when something is NOT right.

I initially went to HEAT for their private training, but it takes one visit to the property to sign up for daycare. The staff are lovely, welcoming and took the time to get to know my puppy and myself. You can tell they love doing what they do. Their organization, swimming area and variety of services can’t be beat!I purchased the 5 pack training sessions with Ashley for my Australian Shepherd puppy and it was worth every penny. Ashley’s patience, understanding and knowledge is highly impressive. She shows you how to use the tools provided and is with you every step of the way. She goes in depth as to why a certain method of training works which helps you stick to it.We did sessions from home where we worked on crate training, staying out of certain places, manners, obedience, separation anxiety, etc. while other sessions were done on the property doing on and off leash training, recall and desensitization. Their HEAT lead was a game changer for leash training. I now have a whole new pup. Thanks to Ashley, I’m always getting compliments on how well behaved my puppy is!Thank you all for the great experience!

I cannot stress how amazing this service has been for us! Our pug Ninja had some bad experiences at dog parks when he was younger (We didn't listen to people who told us it was a bad idea) and we wanted to turn that around. He usually was a fun loving little guy, but we wanted him to have positive experiences with other dogs and make him enjoy dogs again - if he wanted to. The staff at H.E.A.T. have been amazing and I feel like he is in such good hands there. At first he was hesitant to make friends but, after about 10 sessions he warmed up and now is a social butterfly! I felt confident leaving him with the staff and they truly do care about each and every dog! Staff are there to make sure things run smoothly throughout the day and I love hearing about how the day went. He recently tried the grooming services too- a nail trim and that's one more thing I don't need to worry about since he can have it done while at daycare! We'll be trying a pool pawty soon and I can't wait to hear about that experience too. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for not only a dog daycare but a positive -mentally stimulating experience for socialization. I wish we would have done this sooner, but you can! Trevor is great to deal with and I feel like he truly does care about your pet's experience! I included a picture of Ninja's first day and what he looks like after a day of daycare, LOL.

Incredible daycare for our corgi dog. He loves his time at HEAT. Very knowledgeable staff, very responsive to emails, and their half-day trial with new pups is greatly appreciated when it comes to keeping new (and existing) daycare pups safe and content!

Trevor and The HEAT team are awesome at what they do. They are passionate about training and caring for animals. Our pup Gus gets so excited the moment he realizes we're on the way to HEAT....and crashes when he gets home from a fun filled day of playing with his friends..Would highly recommend!

Trevor and his team are just awesome. We started taking our lab Charlie for training at 6/12 months. The results have been amazing. Trevor's demeaner with the dogs is excellent, and he takes the time to help you fully understand his techniques so you can put them into practice away from the training center. The results have been outstanding! Naturally after our experience with Trevor, we looked into the day care program. Once again we were thoroughly impressed with the team at the day care center. Sydney and the rest of the day care staff do an incredible job of making your dog feel like the most special dog on the planet! Awesome on pick up to get a full report of your dogs day. Always tired, totally played out, and had a great day socializing in a safe environment.Trevor and his team are results driven and family focused with their business. My one year old Argentine Dogo just became to strong for me to be able to walk him. With my gentle lead that I received with my training I had one session and I am out enjoying our walks again. This is not like the ones from the pet store. I bought 3 different ones there and no help. This one is amazing. I am back to enjoying my dog. Thank you so much .

We can't thank Ashley and the HEAT team enough for helping our pandemic puppy learn how to confidently interact with the world around her. The staff are lovely, welcoming, and take the time to get to know you and your puppy. You can tell they love doing what they do!Ashley’s patience, understanding, and knowledge is incredible. She tailors the structure and progression of training based on you and your dog's needs. She provides the framework or reason for why a certain method of training is effective, which helped us gain a better understanding of how to interact and support our dog. She shows you how to use tools in a practical way, giving you the confidence you need to continue building these skills with your dog. In home training sessions allowed us to work on door manners, barking, etc. On property sessions and daycare session also allowed us to work on off leash training, recall, and desensitization in a safe and controlled environment. We now have a completely different dog, who enjoys walking and exploring the world around her!

My puppy always comes home exhausted and happy. They post pictures of your dog on Instagram as well so you can see how much fun they had.
