Barbaric 4x4 & Auto Repair

Barbaric 4x4 took on my repair when all other shops in town were booking weeks away. As a traveller passing through Rocky Mntn House and transmission in limp mode, man was I grateful. And hesitant at the same time. Mitch stuck to his quote, even though a stuck valve gave these folks a lot of grief. Jarod and Levi both contributed when not wrenching on other vehicles.It is nice to see a business run with integrity and effort. Pretty obvious Rocky is a busy place. I’d recommend Barbaric 4x4 for auto and truck repair to anyone in need.

I had my car in for an ABS/electrical problem twice and both times the problem wasn't fixed. Upon the 3rd try my Car sat for 4 days outside their business not even looked at during the week.. So I pulled my car and took it to another car mechanic they found the problem right away. I don't recommend these guys for electrical or car computer services.

End of March 2022 had almost $3000 worth of work done to my truck .. Took it back a month or so later for a bad shake asked them to check it over as I was going away to work, they took it for a quick drive and told me it was mud in my rims and my tires being cupped. Mechanic acknowledged that the shake was pretty aggressive.I made it a point to ask if it was good to drive to go away to work..Few weeks later my ujoints were so bad my drive shaft came up thru the floor of my truck on the highway and the transfer case blew right out of the truck into pieces because the ujoints were so bad. Called them to ask if they inspected the ujoints because would that not be something to be checked with a vehicle with a bad shake to check ujoints, drive shaft, etc, and simply said can't really remember it" ... maybe if they had of wrote me a receipt and not a cash job on the side to hide from the government they would have record of it. My fault on the not asking for a receipt but I would never bring a vehicle here again. Terrible service."

The owner charged me double what the initial quote was. When I asked him for a breakdown of the bill, he got rude and snarky. He started swearing at me and my wife IN front of our 3 year old daughters. He kicked my wife out of the shop for asking him not to swear IN front of my daughter, as an owner he should be embarrassed at the way he runs his company and his customer service is laughable. Unless you are stuck, don't even bother with this low end establishment

They were able to fit me in on short notice,they did amazing work in a short amount of time.They stand behind there work,My truck has never ran this good since I’ve owned it.They have made a life long customer out of me.

Came in from outta town and had our truck break down. Called around and was in touch with the Dodge dealership in town who wouldn’t give us the light of day. Called Barbarics 4X4 and even though he was busy he got us in asap. Super nice guy, very reasonable, would recommend anytime!!

Brought my Charger in for an out of province inspection which needed a bunch of discontinued parts that were really hard to find and these guys went well out of their way and found everything needed for great prices! Absolutely blown away with the epic service here! I will only use Barbaric 4x4 for all my families vehicle repairs from now on! Thank you!
