One of the call center agents I dealt with was extremely rude. And then didn't want to help me so she transferred me to her supervisor his name was Jonathan and he was rude as well called me dumb multiple times. So my partner and I will be leaving Scotiabank and not get a mortgage with them as we wanted to for next spring. Worst customer service experience ever!

I have never dealt with Scotia bank before on a personal level and was just in the west branch to assist a friend. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They sincerely value you and your business and it shows in the deliverance of their customer service. Thank you!!!

Always a best experience at this branch. Cathy is so adorable and she knows who to deliver an excellent customer service. Best teller - Cathy makes feel like family and she tries to help as much as she can.

Awful, terrible service. I renewed my mortgage in July and my tax payment withdrawals are incorrect. I have spent hours on the phone with their call center. They can't understand what I am explaining to them, they won't let me talk to anyone else. Keep promising me a call back and I never get one. I have been in contact with the branch as well and they say they can't help......

I am closing my accounts because of poor customer service. In all fairness there is one lady who works there who was very helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately I am going to miss the scene points program but I am sure I will survive.

I am getting ready to retire & needed some advice . A family member suggested I talk to a lady at the Main st. branch in Saint John. I had an appointment with Heather Beckett & it turned out to be one of the best decision i have ever made.She was extremely knowledgeable & one of the most friendly person i have ever met. She helped me with all my financial needs & made it easy to understand. Best Financial Adviser I have ever talked to. Thanks so much for all her help.

I am someone who was a very lucky student- no student loans! I worked through school and had an education fund from my parents so I was very lucky. However at the end of my school year I did a work term over seas and came back to no job and no money!Not ever having any experience with loans and such a took out 2 credit cards which were a huge mistake. A 20 year old with a couple credit cards and no other money...I recently got a job in SJ in my field and have been struggling to make ends meet as I had to move and had no money to do so.Ethan Bosfet was amazing and understanding and helped me consolidate my cards and personal debt into one loan with manageable payments.I can't be more thankful for his patience and willingness to understand the situation it is to be fresh out of school and broke as hell. Thank you Ethan and Scotiabank! My life is now on track!

Friendly staff and great small business program.

Extremely hard , almost impossible, to speak with and advisor for small business account I have, and need to make some change on. called the bank never can speak to anyone, always goes to business centre, and they could only get me an appointment on month away, unacceptable .

Staff at this location are very rude. Not willing to help or assist in coming up with solutions to help a problem, and always passes blame to other branches when they can easily correct a situation. Recently instead of helping they made an elderly lady with no vehicle try to travel to a branch 15-20 minutes out of town.I’ve also encountered issues with my account in the past and no one at this brunch would assist me and just suggests I go to another branch.Very unprofessional with the unwillingness to help their customers.They definitely need to look at getting friendlier staff at this location.
