First Choice Haircutters

This was my 2nd time visiting this place, I don't know his name, tall, big bald guy. He gave me a cut last time so on my this visit when I got him again for the hair cur, I tried to give him some feedback and show him an image for reference. He got rude and angry, was very aggressive in a threatening way through the cut even when making the payment.He asked why I did I come back if I didn't like the haircut. Have interacted with so many hair dressers, nothing like this guy, who is not open to take feedback.

David is terrible. This man hacked at my hair and it's all uneven. I could hear the hacking (not the snip snip of scissors) and was shocked because I've been to other first choice places and this never happened. I would stay away. Thumbs down.

The lady at the front said we don’t do that hair here, so you know what that means…Response to comment: The attitude you took to responding speaks volumes and you need to work on your approach when you speak to customers. You have poor reviews for a reason. The comment and approach made in the store was wrong and dismissive. There’s a way to say things and handle your business professionally.

Edit:: responding to owners comment-. So I basically asked Nasreen to put the mirror behind my back so i could show her the length I want. I literally put my fingers on my hair and showed her this is theLength i want.. either she struggles with following basic instructions or has no understanding of basic hair cut not sure why her final cut was almost 7 inches higher to where i had pointed. Or may be she was mentally pre occupied with something else and not focused all.Also regarding showing me the length while hair cut she was showing me the front layers but I had no clue how much she had chopped already at the back.. also now my hair is poking out in all directions and I look like a mushroom!!! The cut has no semblance of symmetry my toddler could give me the same haircut if i had asked him to do it.Also this is not the first time I got a hair cut so please don’t tell me that I was shown the length during the cut..etc etc.. hire the right people who know the trade.Original review: Terrible service.. i told Nasreen to cut my hair till shoulder blade and she just chopped it completely and made it really short.. very disappointed.. it was my first time here .. would never come again.. do not recommend it either

I walked into get my hair cut not too long ago the employees who work there are unprofessional I walked out. Instead of blaming customers for the staff not wanting to work but just chit chat the owner should either look into whats going on or do better on training all employees to deal with customers of all ages as the previous coments states. Also the door is not too heavy I doubt someone would mistaken it for being locked due to the fact I got in no problem.

I came to the first choice haircutters on main Street around 1:30pm. The door was locked but workers were inside. One hairdresser opened the door and stepped outside on the sidewalk. I asked if I could get my son's hair cut. She asked how old he was I told her he's 13 months old. She said no

Just got a cut from Nina. She was the sweetest thing. Did a really great job with a trim and layering my long, thick hair. As well she shaved my undercut. Overall very happy with my experience going to Nina

I needed to find a place to cut my hair as my hairdresser I have used for many years is moving out of town. This location is close to where I work and decided to give it a try. What a mistake, my hair is above shoulder length and I have layers throughout my hair, and explained what I wanted. Instead of having layers on the sides, it looked like a bowl was put on my head and the sides were cut straight on each side, no layers at all, the top was trimmed, again not in layers, and the back was just as bad. Thank goodness my regular hairdresser has not moved yet, and there was enough hair left for me to go to her and have her fix it. Her salon asked me where I went because the cut was so bad. Because of this my hair is quite short, but luckily hair grows, so do not go to this location, just incase the manager says I am not listed in her system, this location is in the Super centre plaza in Milton.

Joanne did an amazing job on myself and my daughter’s hair styles. We asked for something new and she knew exactly what we would like. She took her time and explained what she was doing. The salon is always clean and the staff are always friendly. We left being very happy with the new hairstyles.
