Bought a battery operated train set for my sons second Xmas, stopped working with in 1 hour. Batteries were fine. If the owner wants to exchange the set I will change the review.Just to be perfectly clear, the day I bought my sons battery operated train set I also bought my train set. Spent 430.00 total. Customer service was good though.***update***Stay away from this store, Amazon sells products for cheaper and replaces them if they do not work. The owner knows nothing about customer service. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. There are many different hobby shops with better customer service.

Bought several models from this place. Owner is very knowledgeable. He has a fair size inventory of plastic model kits. Has a bit of everything. Prices are decent and competitive. Can also order stuff in if available in a reasonable time frame.

Been coming here for years. Always been friendly and accommodating to me. My go-to guys for all my RC Toys! My 3 sons also agrees :)

If you're looking for friendly helpful service, this is not the place. Take your business elsewhere. RC Pitstop nearby have friendly helpful staff, so I spent my 200 dollars there instead. Came all the way from Chilliwack hoping to spend some money on hobby stuff. As soon as we walked in, it was so awkward. Distinct feeling we were inconveniencing the owner. Curt responses, weird looks like I was wasting his time. We felt like we were rushed to leave. At first I though maybe he was closing, but that was not the case.Read all the other reviews....it's not unique to mine.

Guy behind the counter seemed to think he was doing me a huge favour letting buy an item. I will add further to this comment. I had purchased items from this store previously, during regular business hours. I only bought the items because I wanted them, despite the attitude of the proprietor. Store closing or not, this shop owner clearly hates dealing with people. Good thing he is self employed, because if he worked for someone else, his attitude would get him fired. As for your closing time comment, you made a sale. We were in the shop for maybe 2 or 3 minutes. I have never heard of any store that was upset that customer actually bought something from them.

I can't say enough about this great collectable store. Plenty of stock, lots of choice, special orders are no problem. I have been there several times and have enjoyed walking around being inspired and being impressed with the selection. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful.If you want something for yourself or something for your kids, he will always give a great recommendation.Highly recommended to anyone wanting to get into or continue their love of hobbies.As an example when the owner realized my son was showing an interest in hot wheels cars and building models of cars. He sent me 2 models and a bunch of hot wheels cars for him to start on.

To shop Owner: You really don’t even deserve one star. Can’t believe you’re still in business. SO RUDE. Wow! What a terrible and sad way to live, so miserable... Today was the first and last day I will enter this store.

It's not only the shopping experience that is fantastic here it's the jokes and laughter you can share with the owner.I've been in several times since getting in to the hobby, never browsing only buying and I can honestly say the owner is a delight.Helpful, friendly, polite are words that could describe him. This is not the place when you get back to your car saying 'you'll never return' or 'that miserable, ungrateful for your business so and so's not getting another penny from me again'. No such thing.Why waste time driving to Richmond or Vancouver or even ordering online when you can get everything you need at Mr. Sweet as sugars (that's our pet name for the owner).Really it's the best hobby shop in langley. It has everything you need, including lots of laughter.

Avoid this store at all costs. The owner is very confrontation and has poor customer service. You feel like you are actually bothering him by coming to shop at his store. Came to look at his selection of trains and model cars just to be chastised and belittled for my preference in brand. The owner verbally abused me with out right threats to throw me out for calling him on his poor mannerisms and talking down to me. Little man syndrome with a huge splash of behavioral issues is what you will receive at this store. By the previous reviews it sounds this is not uncommon. Hopefully the owner will keep up his poor customer service and go out of business.

I'd much rather support a local business than somewhere like Amazon, and this place has a decent selection, but I really wish the staff were nicer.I was very quiet and respectful, but judging by the shopkeeper's interaction with me, I still felt like I was inconveniencing him by shopping at his store. A simple good morning" or "have a nice day" can go a long way in making customers want to return."
