There is nothing but love at this place. Instead of focusing what you're unable to do, they focus on what you can do. No sickness, darkness, limits, age can stop the progress that you have set for yourself. It's accessible and incorporate an atmosphere of inclusivity, health and wellness, support groups,Progres. Including workshops, support groups, and an open place to connect on important issues. During COVID 19 they are helping our communities during these unprecedented times by delivering meals to some of our most vulnerable population our elderly members. These are also stressful times and they have a warm line for support, double recovery (virtual) There are podcasts and zoom meetings, health and wellness like yoga, healthy recipe recommendations and online board games. They even call just to say hello and check on its members, including when it's your B-day!If everyone could contribute like the way the volunteers and staff do here in their own communities and businesses, then I cannot see why we all cannot make progress within our communities. The environment is warm, kind, courteous, inclusive, respectful, engaging, fun, motivational and supportive. I hope soon all businesses can and will put into progress the support and wellness models for their own employees like Progress Place has done for their members.

Progress Place is a great pick me up & like a good Arabica coffee. The food is great, workers are great, programming meets men & women of all ages. Progress Place is a safe place & almost every time I've gone there with an open mind I have come away a better Michael. Ahoy mates, if you have some mental health challenge, come aboard. I know you'll be welcome!! Just maybe they'll have some Arabica coffee to offer you as well!!!!

I joined progress place about a year ago and there have been huge improvements in my life. I have a place to go and people to talk to who are not only accepting of who I am, but also are able to suggest things that, when I made the choice to follow the advice, my life moved forward. And if I chose not to take advice, that was OK too. Finally, to my surprise, my own existing passion of learning guitar - while some places might tell me, that is not important

This is a great place of some really nice people. I was crying on my first day there as I was having one of my episodes that I get... They called me to check in with me and I was so surprised. I thought I was in trouble at first but to my complete utter shock, he just wanted to check up on me.

I find my anxiety skyrockets whenever I attend. It's so awkward walking in and the staff don't acknowledge we have difficulties.

I highly give caution to any consumer wanting to work for the warm line as I am a previous employee my experience devistated my life it started when the security guards at the hospital where the warm line works used to work started to stigmatize me and make fun of me for being a consumer the guys would walk by me and say to each other how do you like those nuts. The taunting continued till it caused me to start missing work I explained the situation to my boss who was dismissive of my story and told me I was annoying everyone then she called a meeting with me asking me if I was having problems as a single mother for years after I started getting calls from children’s aid on christmases and my boss kept asking me questions about my daughter in a threatening way. My health has declined ever since it caused me to quite my job which I needed despirtatly to feed my daughter.Progress place does not in any form support consumer dignity or consumers having children it could happen to you to!

Such a wonderful place for me. I wish I could go more often (it's very far) but everytime I've gone there it has been a pleasant experience. Thank you to Claudia for being so helpful, and thank you to the entire staff and members.
