Greg and Lorenzo were amazing! Life long memories were made on this trip. Next time we come we need to remember not to bring bananas on board. We caught a bunch of Salmon and even got to see some killer whales. The boat was clean and spacious. I would definitely recommend Hymax Charters to anyone look for a great deep sea fishing experience.

Having fished the west coast of British Columbia for more than 30 years, and 5 consecutive years out of Bamfield, Ucluelet and Tofino, you will not find a better operation than Hymax Charters. Their craft, which is actually 54’, is the most superb fishing vessel I’ve had the pleasure hunting salmon on. Although we had 6’+ swells and heavy wind, it cruised through them seamlessly. It was in great condition, comfortable and spacious.My family of four, including two teenage sons spent a total of 18 hours over two days with Captain Greg and his nonstop powerhouse of a fish master Lorenzo. They are both highly experienced, resourceful, hardworking and excellent communicators. With 4 downriggers running at all times, they got the lines soaking as quickly as they were pulled. When we had double headers or large fish online, Greg would fly down from the second level bridge to adjust the other downriggers or pull them so that Lorenzo could concentrate on goal #1, landing the fish, and land them he did. The fish processer and local government surveyors told us that our overall catch was much larger than anything they had seen on those days.We returned to the dock with 220 lbs of salmon which included our limiting out of 16 chinook and 2 coho. We also enjoyed fresh crab compliments of this crew who dropped a trap on the way out on day one.I can’t imagine why we would fish with anyone else. You will feel the same way.Tight lines.

This was a team outing and it couldn't have been better! Everyone had a great time and the boat is plenty spacious for larger groups. Captain Greg is lovely and accommodating, and also plays great music!! We brought our own food and beverages and he had ice already in the cooler. It really was a fantastic evening, I highly recommend!!!

Greg and Lorenzo were professional and really cared about their customer's experience. Got some salmon, bass and crab. Wonderful half day on the water, next time I'm coming back for a full day trip!

This was definitely the 3 best days of fishing I have had on a charter boat.Top notch gear, the boat was in great shape and lost of space.Captain Garg was extremely knowledgeable and worked hard all day to give us the best chance to get on the meat.

Wanted to see a whale, did. Wanted to catch a fish, did. See wildlife, otters. Get dinner, 6 nice crab. Very accommodating charter, easy going and will show ya or take ya where you’d like. Plenty of fish, but didn’t feel great so went to some more calm areas no problem. Lorenzo and Greg are great guys, nice, organized, very good trip.

Did a 6 hour trip and had an amazing time! Greg knows his way around the waters and the boat was super nice! Everyone almost limited out on Salmon and got over 100Lb to bring home! Will be returning next trip to Tofino and will recommend him to anyone considering a fishing charter.

Fantastic day out on the water with Greg and Lorenzo. If your in the area you most go out with them. The boat was amazing. Greg and Lorenzo are a wonderful team. Reeled in many fish and saw some amazing wild life. Thank you for the great experience, I will be back.

Most comfortable boat in Tofino with Captain and crew who know what they are doing. Pack your own snacks/lunch/refreshments and enjoy the day. Gentlemen if you are taking your wives don’t even think about using any other fishing charter in Tofino. Highly recommend.

Outstanding! My second time out with Hymax Charters - the best fishing charter operation on the west coast. Another awesome experience, caught lots of fish and saw some whales too! Thank you Greg for another exciting experience. Highly recommended!!!
