Nice walk to and around Beaver Lake, didn't see any beavers but a local couple told us to check out nearby Lost Lagoon at dusk.

Always overcrowded but it’s a beautiful spot! Lots of nature. You are likely to see eagles flying above. If you are lucky, you may see a couple of beavers swimming around.

Stanley Park’s hidden gem. Take the walkway all the way around until you reach a small bridge with friendly animals waiting to say hello.

Beaver Lake is filling in, which is unfortunate. The surrounding forest is pretty. There was a very friendly squirrel visiting us.

Beaver Lake
Great place for a spring or summer walk and many birds and wildlife around. Saw Painted lady butterflies, Chestnut-backed Chickadees, Eastern Gray squirrels and more. In total, the loop is 1 kilometer.

Beaver Lake
This is a lovely walk to do in the winter. The area contains many local plants that were harvested by First Nations people for food, technology and medicine. The lake is surrounded by many native northwest coast trees including red alder, big leaf maple, and the sacred red cedar.

Walked the lake since our ferry ride brought us into town early. Easy hike, may need a hat for the second half.
