Absolutely amazing GAP care. Sean made sure to help me in any aspect he could. It probably wasn’t the easiest case to work because my bank and insurance company were both being difficult. But he worked his magic and made it work. I cannot thank him enough.

Canada General Warranty
Had my alternator replaced2 weeks ago which says on my warranty papers is supposed to be covered however it wasnt. According to the dealership i took my car to anyways.

Canada General Warranty
It seems as though they would rather fight to NOT cover my repair instead of being helpful. Purchased the extended warranty for peace of mind, but when the time came to actually use it for a necessary repair I was told it would not be covered. As far as I can read, it seems it should be covered. My Toyota dealership agreed, but Canada General Warranty disagreed with both of us and seemed to put in more effort not to help. I'd definitely think twice about getting a warranty with this company.

I was just informed a dear friend of mine is being told not only was his road side assistance not included in the 7 year warranty that cost $7000, but after being a mere 11 days past the year they did include, they are declining to send a tow truck.His partner and his children are not forced to call, wait for and pay for a tow truck. This has got to be some of the worst customer service I’ve ever heard of!!

Canada General Warranty
I purchased the basic level General Warranty (for $1700) with the purchase of my used car. The used car dealer said it covers everything with the powertrain (engine and transmission).My transmission blew, nothing is covered and I have to pay out of pocket for repair. ($1000)They show that the manifold, gaskets and seals are included in their warranty booklet; but when I contacted them, they said they’re not. So have to pay out of pocket to fix that too. ($1,200)The only good part about the insurance is the roadside assistance / helpline, but save your $ and just get CAA instead.

Extended warranty? Gimmick. First google review of 300. Roadside assistance is only 1 year. Do not believe their coverage lasts longer than it does. Called June 24th while on highway to get wife and kids off side of road after car broke down. Called our 'peace of mind' warranty company to find out its only 1 year for the bullet point roadside assistance" and that expired on June 11th. Would not extend an olive branch to help. Find out what you're buying.. because $7
