The selection isn't even close to the LCBO in Ontario and the prices are ridiculously inflated due to the extra taxes that Nova Scotia seems to be getting away with, but they sell beer, and at the end of the day that's what I want. It's way more expensive to drink here, but I guess it's good for keeping the drunken nights to a minimum. Friendly staff and quick checkouts are a plus. If you're visiting from Ontario like I am, be aware that you will break the bank if you're a regular drinker.

Well... I'm glad you asked i waited outside of nslc for 30 mins I saw a bunch of employees come and go... than at 12 pm someone put a sign on door closed!!! They could ha e put the sign up earlier...

The people who work here are really nice. They have a little clearance section but it's a little sparse. Two different associates asked me if I needed help. Not sure if it's because they were being friendly or I looked a bit worse for wear in my weekend casuals hehe. At least they were nice enough to ID me!
