SAQ-Carrefour Laval

Make sure you go alone to purchase alcohol because the cashier decided to card my companion because she didn’t look “of age” but she wasn’t paying for the alcohol just holding.On top of that we were spoken very rudely for no apparent reason.I’ll make sure next time to go to another location hopefully employees are more mannered.

Did not have my ID they did not accept that I go get it and come back to buy my bottle very poor service from employees did NOT care about good customer service which is their actual job

Small selection but they'll have something you really need or something equivalent. Just ask them, the staff is really nice and will help you find it.My experience there was weird because the guy was wearing his sunglasses inside but we bonded over the print of my bag. The wine they suggested was a huge hit.

Convenient liquor store in the mall

New reviewI was so irritated by the cashier. I get there with my choice. I feel rushed because she's talking to the other cashier. She scans the bottle asks for the method of payment. I tell her wait I have my inspire card. Then she again asks for my method of payment. I put my bag on the counter to search for my cc. She doesn't move my bottle back and it falls because of my bag. And then she's like ok bye. For the next client in line. let me put my bottle away first... I was so angry. I did end up swearing under my breath. It's so strange because they seemed to have more employees than before and that makes them more impatient and rude with clients???? Yasssssss, finally I got my arak bottle I wanted!!When I asked my sister where to go and buy it she told me: SAQThis location is in Carrefour Mall at Laval and their prices are wonderful.They accepted my USA credit card but the only thing I didn’t like about this place was that they do not give plastic bags or any bag at all. You have to buy your own.

Store well kept but cashier was rude and adamant with his French. He clearly spoke English and when we asked him a question in English he responded “je ne comprends pas” when we heard him communicate in English with his colleague prior to us

It's a liquor store, it will provide for you what you need. There is a tasting bar here that is a nice touch. The lady that was demonstrating the wine seemed very knowledgeable and was also able to help us in English and answer all of our questions. Thank you for providing a good experience.
