Merry Maids of Brampton

For the price the I paid ($400+), I expected better results and more professionalism. I had informed the merry maids office that this would be a new move in to a house and that everything would need to be cleaned well. The office didn’t tell me what they will charge and just told me the cleaners would inform me ahead. However, they didn’t inform me ahead and just left a paper on my microwave. The office messed up my appointment and I had to take a full day off from work for the service. Over a week, the office told me that the cleaners would come at 8am, however, on the day at 7:45 am, they inform me that the cleaners would come between 10 and 12. I had taken a half day off and ultimately, I had to take a full day off from work. This really annoyed me since the office scheduler just argued that she couldn’t do anything since people didn’t come into work. Accepting this, I waited and the cleaners came finally at 12pm and as soon as they step in they say that they won’t be able to do the complete cleaning of the house in the time they were allotted. I had to take my pregnant wife to her doctor’s appointment at 3, so the latest I could wait was till 2.30pm. For this, the two ladies just said that they will charge for three hours. Giving up, I just asked them to get to their work. The ladies were so unprofessional that they had an argument in the midst of rendering the services. I even saw one of the ladies throw the second lady’s water bottle on to the floor to which the second lady started to bicker. At this point, I was so exhausted with this service, I had decided not to go along with merry maids as long term. They finished at 2:30 and the ladies just kept bickering in front of me! They said they will not be able to do anything in the basement, but since I needed to go to my wife’s doctor’s appointment, I was in a hurry to get them out of the door. they again told me they will charge for 3 hrs and I was in no mood to argue with them. I told them to ask the office to call me about it, but there was no call back. When my wife and I came home after, we checked the quality of the cleaning. None of the closets were cleaned, there was still dust lying there. None of the windows upstairs, were cleaned. None of the cupboards within the kitchen were cleaned. This was a total utter waste of money. I haven’t been more disappointed with a service before than I am now of merry maids.

A fantastic day got even better when I returned home to a fresh and clean home from top to bottom. Level of service and detail was exceptional and I am looking forward to their next visit.

We use a house cleaning service once in a while to do a good deep cleaning of our house. Since Covid hit, we have been respecting the rules but now we are in need of a deep clean.We were referred to Merry Maids of Brampton through a friend and we used their services this past Friday....WOW! The attention to detail exceeded expectations! Our house was cleaned to another level, well done!We met with the cleaners after they were done and I really liked that they are local residents of Georgetown and are working in Georgetown!Very impressed and will use them again...next month :)

WOW...my house has never looked so clean! I was nervous about getting my house cleaned during COVID but the everyone was so professional and they have lots of protocols to protect everyone. The house smelled so good when i returned and the kitchen has never shined so bright! The whole family was so happy with the level of clean performed.I have both a cat and a dog, so its hard to make the house hair free, but the two ladies who came had no issues! The two ladies were arriving as I was heading out, which was right on time, even a bit early- which I appreciate! They were friendly and professional and all masked up. I am so happy with this service, the whole house looks fantastic and will definitely be using them again in the future!
