I had a great experience with Vancouver Driving School. My instructor was Shah and he was an amazing instructor who prepared me for the road test fully. Ask for Ashraf - as a driving instructor he is kind, patient, reassuring, and knowledgeable. It was long journey to my N and I finally got it done at age 29; I had driving anxiety from bad experiences, no family members available to teach me, and only recently had the income to afford driving lessons. It means a lot to achieve this milestone, both personally and for my professional development. I had an amazing experience at this driving school, all thanks to the incredible instructor, Shah! His kindness and patience was unmatched as he prepared me exceptionally well for my driving test. With his guidance, I passed on my first attempt for a class 5 license. Highly recommended!

I’d like to personally say that, I had the best instructor through this driving school. Preetinder Singh is very calm and is incredibly easy to learn from. The way he explains his directions are extremely clear and concise. It only took me about 4-5 lessons to feel comfortable driving. He goes through the teaching process perfectly from getting used to the brake and gas pedals all the way to understanding road habits. Best teacher ever and would definitely recommend to anyone. 5 stars earned!!

I just passed my full class 5 road test with Tom (who is also my Dad.)I am unbiased not because he’s my Dad, but to acknowledged that without my Dad I wouldn’t have passed 1st try. He had also taught my 2 older sisters and I from when we had our Learners to the “N” and now we all have full class 5 licenses.My Dad taught me that passing the road test would be the by-product of first instilling knowledge of proper and safe driving in order for me to be safe and the safety of all road users around me.He has over 30 years of driving experience from semi trucks, buses, to even motorcycles and he will pass on his vast knowledge on to you so that you will confidently drive safely.I hope you will be as fortunate as I to have Tom and his colleagues to help you confidently drive safe and passing your road test along the way!

Highly recommend VDS!I booked lessons at the last minute for my class 5 driving exam. They were able to find an instructor who could work around my schedule. They responded quickly, so there was no need to waste our time waiting. I got three lessons with Shafi and the road test warm-up with Ashraf. Both are knowledgeable, patient, punctual, and friendly instructors.Shafi showed me my mistakes, gave helpful driving advice, and he always complimented my good driving behavior. He always encouraged me to be confident, which helped a lot to calm me down when someone was observing me. He answered all the questions and doubts I had.I met Ashraf, my second instructor, on the road test day. I had concerns since I was taking my road test in a different car with a different instructor. But he also guided me well to pass my test. He showed me different routes and gave me some advice and guidelines for the road test, which helped me feel more confident before the test.Thank you, Shafi and Ashraf, as well as office administrator Aeiman.I Wish VDS all the best!

Will 100% recommend this driving school to anyone! Office was great about working around my busy schedule and my driving instructor Shafi is the best instructor i've ever had. Super kind, patient and very encouraging. He is amazing for any new or anxious drivers as he will help you gain a good idea of driving. He offers tons of helpful tips and different ways to do maneuvers so you can choose the way that works best for you. He did a great job at getting me prepared for my drivers exam and feeling confident on the road. Will definitely be recommending this driving school to my friends and family!

I was really nervous about my road test, so I took one class with Ashraf to prepare. He was so helpful, patient, and kind - he gave me all the tools (and confidence) in just an hour long lesson to help me pass my test. Everyone that I interacted with while inquiring/booking my lesson were also very pleasant.

Shah was incredibly thorough, patient, and focused on making sure that I not only understood the rules of the road, but how to smoothly operate the vehicle. I had never driven before our first lesson and was very nervous, but he made sure I was comfortable and was incredibly helpful when it came to simplifying things parking guidelines etc. I enjoyed my time learning with Shah and highly recommend to any new driver looking to pass their road test!
