The museum was ok, not very informative, they should post the history via timeline not by person or events. However the view at the back of the Museum are perfect, spent few hours on the river side and enjoy the sunshine there. Even it's very hot but the wind makes you feel like fall.

Had great experience to know the aboriginal life style and the experiences this place has to share regarding the history of canadaLady at the front was very helpful In Going thru detail and explaining each one of them.It is 3 floored museum where basement is dedicated to rail and upstairs is to understand Mohawk life.CP rail museum in the ground floor was worth spending time to go back in the history and look at it.

Did not go into the museum because it was closed but the park itself is worth the stop. Absolute beautiful section of the river.

Covid temporarily closed their doors but the grounds are beautiful along side the Mattawa River and an incredible carving of Joe Muffaraw. Quite a bit of Canadian history.

The Museum was closed but we got a few good photos of Big Jim Muffraw, this is one taken of us by a local fellow that claimed he used to be a photographer for the local newspaper. You decide.

I visited there with my family while on a camping trip. Judy the curator was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about our history. She and her wonderful team made this a great visit. The museum was very informative which included a fantastic amount of treasures about our history.

Great welcome & intro from Judy.The different displays were done so well throughout the 3 floors making it easy to appreciate all the history under one roof.Have to say.. it was unusual for my husband to enjoy a museum ;)Great job!

Great little museum for local settler and indigenous history and great resources for building and celebrating birch bark canoes. Kids painted rocks. Bought book and map.
