Great atmosphere, with a good assortment of products to satisfy your hobby needs. The two guys were very knowledgeable and more than willing to take the time and have a conversation.I will definitely go back.

Last Friday I brought my brother in With yugioh cards and the man said the yugioh expert wouldn't be until 3pm; it was 12 o'clock at the time. I waited trusting that they would get back to me cause they asked for my phone number and my Brother's name. It was only 20 cards maybe to evaluate. They have kept postponing Which has caused my little brother a lot of anxiety this is his 1st time actually trying to sell his cards. I find that there is a lot of traffic that comes in-and-out that are very day-to-day people, but when it comes to the newbies or others you guys don't even really care. I definitely feel I will never come here again. I have tried you guys multiple times in the past with my magic cards just purchasing as a beginner and you guys did not treat me with any respect. I feel that is something to be acknowledged I get you have a lot of regulars But as a beginner coming into your workplace and getting the experience that I did I really didn't feel comfortable in continuing magic itself or any other card game. I only came to you because grey Guardian doesn't buy yugioh cards and I regret it because Grey Guardian would have had to done within the hour.Thank you for this experience again I feel It deserved acknowledgment.

I finally got to check out the new store location. It's big, bright, and beautiful. I'm looking forward to a return visit!

Came up for a warhammer tournament in mid-April, and overall, I was impressed. Staff were friendly, and the store was well lit and surprisingly spacious, especially with 8 tables in use for the event. Solid selection of products, including a reasonable (that I saw anyway) selection of used miniatures. Definitely recommend stopping by if you get the chance, and I'll be back for sure

There's nothing quite like walking into a store and being so thoroughly ignored that you can't actually tell who was supposed to be working there and who's just there as a customer. After leaving, my friend was able to point out to me which of the guys actually works there. He barely looked up when we entered and completely ignored us as we stood at the counter trying to look at Yu Gi Oh tins on the shelf. It's not the first time it's happened, and talking with other folks I know, it's not uncommon either.I don't expect them to drop everything they're doing, especially if they're running an event, but a wave and hello or even just a nod goes a long way. I don't doubt that the staff have good product knowledge, but there is no standard of customer service there. It gets more frustrating every time it happens, and I'm running out of chances and excuses that I'm willing to give them. I can't even just blame one particular employee having a bad day because it's happened so many times, and the owner himself is guilty of it too. Magic the Gathering and weekly regulars may be their bread and butter, but all customers deserve to be treated with respect.

New location is great. Lots of selection for model paint and supplies. Good selection of board games available as well. Staff are very friendly and willing to help.

I have been going to DG since they opened in Peterborough, and had visited them a few times when in Toronto. For Games-Workshop their prices match GW and their MTG singles match FaceToFace, but for many of their other products I have been finding their prices to be very high lately. In some cases 30% more than even other local competitors.Since opening the new location, they have updated their tables to play on and Introduced a table fee/subscription. This has caused a lot of divide in the local gaming community. I do not blame people upset with this, I have many friends who no longer go to this location and have moved to Grey Guardian games.Finally hours open. As someone that works 9-5 job, they are closed at 6pm most days of the week. This has lead me to go to their competition on many occasions to make purchases. It is also one of the leading factors for me to not get a subscription. Many of the other stores that have moved to the system are at minimum open till 9pm so that their members can get values.All this being said, really the main reason I go back is the employees they have working behind the counter. They are a fantastic group of people with a lot of great ideas. I hope some day they will implement some of them.

Decent experience. I went for magic cards with limited knowledge of what I was doing. The staff were somewhat helpful but I wasn’t able to browse cards aside from a limited few, and without knowing exactly what I was looking to buy, I felt somewhat dismissed. Could have just been a bad day, but I will definitely visit our other Peterborough MTG store before this one.

Excellent hobby shop that is well lit, well stocked and has some very helpful staff members. I've been in here for all kinds of stuff - some Warhammer paint/figues/books, some Magic singles and some used DnD books. Always had friendly conversation with the staff and felt comfortable taking a look at their inventory.Although I've never participated, they seem to have plenty of events and their table space is copious with lots of different terrain pieces. I gotta get in here for some Friday Night Magic soon!
