I see many good reviews but I tried a poutine to go. Once I got it went straight to the truck. Then I tried it...... I had to throw it out. It was like the fries were microwaved. Very soggy. No crunch at all and soaked with grease. Fries is the easiest thing for a restaurant to make. Proper oil, temperature and time. This place has severe issues with fries.The truckstop is awesome tho. Great showers and clean facilities with great parkingEdit to the reviewI'll up the 1 star to 3 star for food and give them another chance!

First time eating here. I had the omelette, very tasty. The fried mashed potatoes were awesome, I've never seen those on a menu ! I highly recommend...

We were going for breakfast there. Truck stops are usually pretty reasonable, that being said this truck stop changes that. $17.95 for 3 slices of French toast and a few strips of bacon is not reasonable. I can see why their business has been going downhill.

Grandma's Family Truck Stop Restaurant
This was my first visit, and couldn't have been more pleased. Delicious breakfast choices served all day. I had the deluxe three egg omelet. Truly one of the best I've had. Added a fin pancake, also delicious. Home fries and fried mashed potatoes were both excellent. Very friendly and efficient staff. Looking forward to my next visit and trying more dishes! Highly recommended!
