I couldn’t be happier with the prompt response I received from Irina! You saved my eScooter with the special battery you built for me. No one else had the expertise or knowledge for such a feat. I would recommend Chans Battery Rebuild to everyone looking for a custom battery by a professional for a reasonable price.

I had an old laptop that I upgraded and brought back to life, unfortunately the cells in the battery were pooched. I started to google what could be done and where I could take it as the OEM battery was no longer being made and replacements cost a premium, and I also didn’t want to buy from a 3rd party that made replacement batteries. After a while i stumbled upon CHANS Battery Rebuild and decided to try them out and take it to them. It only took 3 days for them to repair the battery, and they also warranty their work for 1 year. After 2 days of testing the battery, putting it through some tests, the battery held a charge, would run for the same amount of time that it originally did, if not more (before the cells in the battery had to be replaced by CHANS). I had a 36 volt E bike battery that would not charge. I tried to repair it myself installing a new BMS I spent a couples hours trying to repair, with no success. Irina and her husband were able to troubleshoot and repair my ebike battery which had a couple of difficult-to-find problems. They patiently worked through those problems and the battery is working great now. They were also able to increase the amp hour rating of the battery, from 10.4 ah to 14 ah using new cells and my mileage range/power have increased proportionally.

Great service on up grading an old obsolete battery for my screw gun. Decent price and quick repair time. Time will tell how long it lasts.

Just had 3 snap on 18v lithium batteries rebuilt, so far they work excellent. Looks like quality cells were used and lots of nickel strip and spot welds. I will update if anything happens but I'm confident in the quality of work.

hard if not impossible to find fresh batteries for old laptops. Got a name-brand new" battery for a Thinkpad T61 online
