The thing I love about this place was, It was alive and full of people. Seems like people here are connected to this place. It really made that environment so much positive. The menu is full of local dishes and price's aren't too high. Representative here are so sweet, I was taking more time for my order and she touched my shoulder like known and lovely said take your time.Quantity is dangerous here, I mean I had a breakfast and didn't felt hungry for the whole day, It's totally a worth to take a visit whenever you're on Cape Breton tour. .

A classic restaurant where you can find the local dining here. Very good. Generous portions. Good services. We took 4 différents plates, everything was great except for the coffee. I do recommande to go there :)We ordered the French toast, fish sandwich, clam chowder, fish cake + an extra pancake

Great family run restaurant in the town. Service was impeccable and the food was outstanding. We stumbled upon this gem looking for all day breakfast and it exceeded our expectations. The omelette was tasty and the serving size was generous. Would visit again

Had lunch would class food as average, had hamburger Steak sandwich with mashed potatoes, hamburger was burnt and potatoes were not very creamy. Came from New Glasgow to try after reading write up in Saltscapes magazine, story was better then the food. Service was good.

Customer service is always great. The food is always good, and generally comes very quickly. Super accommodating, if you dont like or what something they always let you substitute for something else. Lots of food options to choose from. Clean restaurant, however sometimes the table needs to be wiped again when we sit down, like it wasn't cleaned properly after the last guests (sticky spots, food still on table, etc.)

We arrived at about 5:15pm and service was a bit slow but expected as it’s a small place with one server. We ordered the Acadian Fishcake Classic and the Petit Gras Sampler and they were delicious! The server was super friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!!

You usually can’t go wrong with a Hot Hamburger Sandwich, I did say usually… firstly the gravy was more like turkey gravy, the sliced carrots were way overcooked, as were the home fries! The burger itself was good though!

There was nothing wrong with this place. Along with the meal, the service was also excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. The seafood Chowder was a creamy bowl of deliciousness. The side fish was nicely done, the fish cake had a terrific flavor (only thing I would like is more fish bits...but at the cost of everything, it's understandable to hold some back), and the homemade biscuit was wonderfully fluffy". I'm not living in Cape Breton anymore

Nice family owned diner. Reasonably priced breakfast and great home fries. Nothing fancy. Exactly what you'd expect from a place like this!

Server was prompt, but not particularly pleasant. Got the fisherman's platter. Was very disappointing. Haddock was bland, overcooked. Chowder was mostly potato. Fishcake was mostly potato. Wife got hot turkey sandwich. Gravy was free of salt, tasteless. Carrots were cooked to absolute baby food consistency. The home fries were good. Portions were huge, but an incredibly disappointing experience.
